We have no striker, if you can find me any team that can play with a system with no striker I’ll be surprised , he’s had no pre season, if were still not great halfway of next season fair enough.
But let’s not jump on his back when he has to piece a team together and players playing in their unnatural position

The lack of striker doesnt pave over the blinking obvious. We’re completely devoid of ideas and movement and that comes from the coach.

It’s hard to know what movements to do when you’re not playing in a position you know

This was what I was scared of. Mourinho's style of football when you're winning it's quickly forgotten however when you lose being weak and passive it truly highlights the awful outdated style we've adopted.

We played without a recognised striker many times under poch yet we still dominated games.

Jose has been a massive let down and the excuses for not having a lanky dude up front to hold the long balls up are not good enough.

His tactics are clearly out of date and i have no doubt that we will typically be the first team he wins nothing with unless he changes his tactics and starts to earn his money.

We are gifting too many chances every game and thats just not good enough. Too many bloody excuses.
How anybody can think he has been a massive let down is crazy talk. He has quite literally turned out season around without some of our best players available. I really think you are insane.

I thinks he’s finished. Tactically he’s so out of date. He and we got completely schooled tonight. We have no style, no direction. We are in the position we are in the league as the the league in general is poor.

We are dreadful.
I think it's harsh to leave it all at his door.

We've sold arguably the two best fullbacks the club has seen and not replaced. We replaced arguably one of the best CMs in Dembele and replaced him two windows too late. We're the 6th richest team in world football and the only top flight club without another recognised central striker.

I don't think it's gonna work with Jose. He's just not going to function alongside Levy. He'll be gone by Xmas imo. But this mess isn't his fault. But there are things he could be doing to improve the situation.

It must so incredibly frustrating having the injuries we have. And make it very hard. But tactically he made some really poor decisions tonight and in general I don't like the direction he is trying to take us. Saying that obviously one can't really judge until next season.

On a side note, not buying a striker was such a idiotic move unless Jose changes his mind about Parrott. Which I doubt he will.

Name a game we’ve played well?
Besides Burnley? I've thought we've had good spells in most of the games we've played over the last two months, I can also balance unrealistic expectations and delusional ones considering this season as a whole ...

still deserves credit for where we are in the league despite all the shit that he has had to manage, And a crack at the whip when we have all cylinders available to fire.

but fucksake, long ball football to moura just seems and is evidently not a viable plan, it just cycles possession and keeps us under constant pressure,

It's almost like some of you never watched us play under Poch for the final 12 months. Rewind to the Ajax first leg. That was as bad as what we saw for an hour tonight.

The squad needs refreshing and on top of that hes been doing it without Kane and now without Son.

Cut him some slack until at least this time next season.

The lack of striker doesnt pave over the blinking obvious. We’re completely devoid of ideas and movement and that comes from the coach.

But this has been the case for the last 12- 18 months. Doesn’t matter who the coach is. The squad is tired, stale and lacking in vital areas.
