I don’t think anybody knows what you mean by this.
Just a bit of a laugh. Bored of trying discuss anything in this thread any more. Get attacked or abused, more than others it seems to me, for my opinion on this matter.

Bored of people hiding behind ratings and not actually being either bothered or able to reply instead.

Edit: before anyone tells me I'm too precious about ratings, all I'm saying is disagree with me all you like but at least try and tell me why you disagree

On a second note, how would you all feel if somehow Mou got us top 4 and won the cup? would you still want him shit canned? Personally I would as it seems like we need someone that is seen more longterm but I would still feel weird firing him if that makes any sense

This was asked earlier.

General consensus was that Jose had killed most peoples cat/dog/pet and and want him gone

If we got top 4 of course he’d deserve another season, I think that’s undeniable. But there’d be a very justifiable fear that it was just delaying the inevitable.

Long and short is, we’re at the business end of the season and I don’t think any of us can honestly say we’ve enjoyed supporting Spurs so far this season.

Nearly 3 Weeks between now and the cup final, and I can only see things going one way now unfortunately.
This is the thing, if Jose knows he’s a dead man walking then we are somewhat playing with fire if we keep him. His ego might push him to try to win the cup and get top 4 but he could just as easily become more prickly and exacerbate the problems already bubbling underneath. IMO we need everybody in our squad pulling together if we are to get anything out of this season and I don’t see that happening with Jose seeing out the season.

I've already said previously results haven't been good enough across the season, yet if you look at other teams they've underperformed. Worse than us actually. It's a weird season, I'm sure there'll never really be another as strange as this one. Not in our lifetime anyway.

Not advocating Jose staying either. But I don't see a new man coming in and doing any better.

But then you could say that all it needed was us to have a manager to put out a team to get consistent results. But we haven’t had that since before Jose was even with us.

I watch because its an escape for me from every day life, which in the current climate is tough for everyone. Its 2 hours or so where I can sit and support Spurs and not really have to be concerned with anything else.
Same here. Which is why I need it to be better. If I’ve put two hours aside, which isn’t easy, I’d like to think they were well used. They’re just not now. And the promise of a good evening/couple of days at a stretch in late April really isn’t justification for the amount of misery.

I would be like when he got United to 2nd. Unsustainable and with results bound to catch up to the performances in the near future.

And therein lies the difference. I don't need it to be nice football. I just need and want us to win.

And I'll watch regardless of performance or style of play. It doesn't bother me.

It used to be escapism for me, watching it this season gives me the perspective that life could be much worse

This talk about having a good points tally over the last five games is useless . Since we were top of the league we have not beaten a team in the top ten . The solace I got was that at least we can beat the teams in the bottom half we then get beaten by Arsenal and can only draw against Newcastle oh dear . Whilst we could get 4th we will not get 4th as we are as a team clueless .
In. fact I think we were lucky to beat an injury ravaged Villa exept for some last ditch defending by Sanches and Rodon we would have not beaten Villa . Fans must stop this "we can get fourth " because we are not good enough and by the way our journey to the top of the league earlier in the season was not inspiring it was a lucky journey . We have been awful apart from the odd game where Kane and Son have come up with the goods .

Have we ever had consistent results?

Even in our best seasons under Poch they were littered with awful draws with teams we were expected to beat. It was our downfall in both seasons where we challenged Leicester and Chelsea.

And it's not going to change under a new man, because with the amount of pricks in our current squad no manager is going to be able to get consistent results unless Levy takes a short term hit. And he'll never do that.

Would it bother you if you were going to matches and watching it?
10 mins on MotD is one thing. Spunking £150 and a day out to be fucking bored to death and filled with disappointment is quite another imo.
