Or at least best left to the match day thread.I was very reasonable but that’s fine. No need for drama on an online forum ?

Youre right, all that is true but I hear this alot that this is the price for trophies.... is it? Since when was cowardice or ultra defensive and dull football and winning trophies become mutually exclusive? It isnt.
Look at Liverpool - we really need to look at and follow Liverpool as a perfect example... and I absolutely despise them with all my strength but they were very much like us who even started at a lower base as us (werent we ahead of them in terms of our development, i mean we hammered them 4-1 and could have been 7-2 by the end) - they have won the CL and the PL without having spent a tonne... they sold Coutinho to fund the two main purchases needed... i wouldnt sell Kane but we have a lot of dross we can sell for a good few quid.... give it to the new manager and lets fucking get going...
Haha. Didn’t even wait for me to say I disliked calling our team « a bunch of losers ». Nothing to do with him. Touchy touchyOr at least best left to the match day thread.
I'm cool about it too. The toxic nature of the threads are a bit off-putting at times though.Took Klopp a fair few transfer windows and years to get them to where they are now. I still believe, though I am sure I'm in the minority, with the same amount of time and backing to cut away the deadwood and get the right kind of players - mentally as well as skill wise - that Jose will get us there.
It's just all getting a bit heated at the moment. Thing is that we all want the same destination, it's just that people have preferred route maps to get there. Daniel Levy has the sat nav but won't tell anyone which route he is taking.Haha. Didn’t even wait for me to say I disliked calling our team « a bunch of losers ». Nothing to do with him. YesBloody hell, I think about 80% of posts are from the same 5 or 6 people repeating the same stuff - is this what furlough does?

If we were winning every match, ruthlessly by a goal or two I couldn't personally give two shits what the football was like. After a trophy or two I might get more choosy. The problem is you might belive a couple of windows time he may build a great squad in his image that has a chance of Winning. But the football is so bad to watch even if we do Win
Yep. Level-headed post. It's just all getting a bit heated at the moment. Thing is that we all want the same destination, it's just that people have preferred route maps to get there. Daniel Levy has the sat nav but won't tell anyone which route he is taking.
Has anyone wondered whether 80% of posts are from the same 5 or 6 people on furlough repeating the same stuff?

I agree but ultimately as we now know it’s the manager who becomes the scapegoat when results don’t happen. Even being diplomatic it’s hard to argue that Josè is doing a good job. I’m not saying the results would be much different if we binned him and brought in the next manager. I just feel a lot of the unrest is that the quality of football has been painful to watch. The players are not performing and I strongly believe that it’s a direct result of the rigid uncompromising style Josè makes us play. Players are overprotected and rarely held to account but that’s been the case for a while and it ain’t changing anytime soon. Its big part for me when people aren't aiming blame at the players
It won't be the toll road, that's for fucking sure.
So then it begs the question and one I haven't thought about asking since Sherwood was in charge.....do we want us to lose?
