He is 33, looked pretty spent last season and has had six months of pub level football. He won't be picked up by a big club.

Maybe home to Sunderland if he's really desperate.

Imo they miss partey and xhaka but I don't watch them too much to form a detailed opinion

Raya was a loan because they didn't have the ffp room. Maybe they are getting some Saudi money for Partey because I can't think of anyone else.

This is reminiscent of when they had pathetic CBs but spent window after window buying any other position.

A good player but seems an odd fit to me. Most games they will look to dominate possession against a low block and Rice/Onana is far less creative than the Partey/Xhaka partnership of last season.

It will also mean that they will spend around 115 million for two players in 6 months that will fight for the same position. Unless Arteta is going back to thinking of Havertz as the CF option, which in that case, good luck to them.

Was just about to post this. Honestly feel this will be the transfer of the window. Fantastic player. This time next year I reckon he will be worth triple the price if not more.

Nope they desperately need another box to box midfielder to replace Xhaka.

Not sure how Onana would fit as another defensive midfielder, unless he can also play more box to box?

I’ve always thought he was bang average myself.
