I think what this window shows, is that the billionaires will ball while the investment funds won't take the risk

Liverpool, Us, Arsenal tend to be fiscally responsible

Whilst Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd will splash the cash

Man Utd whilst living within their means are insanely cash rich due to their income but even they are struggling to agree a fee a in this climate for one player
It is crazy how much Chelsea have spent. They still have gaps in their squad but they have bought very well. Kai and Timo are very good investments for the future. Really annoying tbh. I don't think Lampard will win them a title but whoever comes next could well if they continue to spend at this level. Ether way, now FFP has been proven as a Joke clubs like Chelsea can do whatever they like it seems.

‘CORONA’ DISCOUNT ON SANCHO?

Sky Sports News’ Kaveh Solhekol on The Transfer Show...

“When you look the Donny Van de Beek deal, Ajax have given Manchester United a corona discount, if you like. Why are Borussia Dortmund not willing to follow suit on Jadon Sancho?

“Surely, if United start talking again to Dortmund over Sancho they will say ‘look, you’ve got to be realistic’.

“United got a discount on Van de Beek because of what is happening in the world at the moment, Dortmund have to be realistic and do the same with Sancho.””. :cautious:

Would be decent business for this lot to replace some of the dross they have in midfield with Partey, Auoar and Ceballos. Imagine they’ll have to raise a bit of money from the likes of Bellerin, Torreira etc

That would be fucking horrible for us. That would be a great window for them

I think Partey would be a great signing for them unfortunately, but Ceballos was part of their dross midfield last season and Aouar had less work rate than Ndombele at Lyon, so who knows how he will adapt, as we've seen with Tanguy, he might struggle with the pace of the PL.

At least he'd have an easy song over here. Not sure how you pronounce it, but I'm hearing it like the Paul McGrath song:

"Ooh ahh Aouar, I say ooh ah Aouar!"

Arsenal’s books are beginning to look less stable as I believe this year will be yet another where they’re in the red (not because of the pandemic).

Ceballos was much better after lockdown than before.

Doubt they'd get both Parter and Aouar if they're resigning Ceballos on loan.

Volland to Monaco for around €15m seems like good value.

Sounds like Everton are very close to bringing in Rodriguez, Allan, and Doucoure.

Can't tell if it's good business or if it will be entirely sub par like the rest of Everton's business has been for ages.

Sky reporting Doucoure to Everton for £25m.. would've loved him at Spurs but truth is we were never paying that much for him

Will be a great signing. They're finally getting some quality players.

As always wihh Everton, they're still as likely to finish 17th as they are 4th, so they'll probably end up mid table again.

Doucoure is a good signing. James is a bit of a risk but I suppose they're not breaking the bank for him. I don't know much about Allan, but I thought he was a similar player to Doucoure. Seems odd to get both, particularly with Gomes, Davies, Delph and Gbamin.
