Yet we're committed to spend over £50m in the summer so what's your point? It's more important to get them in now rather than in the summer.
My point is the club deferring payments. And when the summer comes the 50m they send to Sporting will inflate what we actually spend in the summer. It’s clever business - deferring payments and gaining interest on money sitting there. But shit way to run a club actually trying to win things, which under this ownership is not the plan. Remember Chelsea have spent more in this January window than we have in all January windows combined till 2008 under ENIC. That’s my point.

In Zaniolo, Hincapie, Maddison, Kim. Any 2 of those would be wonderful.

The real dream though would be Bernardo Silva, if City really are prepared to let him go.

Porro hopefully makes up for the failure to sign a first choice RWB during the summer.

Another window where we fail to properly address our issues at CB is disappointing though. It’s all very well saying January is a difficult window but we have had multiple windows to sort out a problem which has existed since the end of Poch’s time here. In fact since Poch left I think we have only bought two first team cb’s, Rodon and Romero.

Was expecting 2 in this window, a RWB and a CB. However believe Porro and Danjuma will be it.

Disappointing not to get a CB in as the likes of Dier, Sanchez, Davies and Lenglet are not the solutions as first team regulars but if the right CB's are not obtainable now, rather not bring in someone for the sake of it and then end up being stuck with them.
