Here's a general thread for just posting your picks for ins and outs the same as we did last summer.

No lengthy discussions or replies, just who'd you want in and who'd you want out? This is not a discussion thread.

My picks:

In:
  • Sabitzer - Glad to see we've been linked again recently as he's really the one I want assuming we have no chance at Grealish or Dybala.
  • Upamecano - Yep, I'm pillaging Leipzig :p If we want a young CB to replace Sanchez it should be this guy.

Out:
  • Dele - Might be a controversial opinion but he's simply not good enough. Part of it relates to our system but he's only good in the "free" role and he's not good enough in that role to build the system around him. Ndombele is.
  • Winks - Just not good enough. Hope he goes on and has a great career elsewhere.
  • Sanchez - Tricky given his cost but he's shown no capability to improve his weakenesses and we're missing Jan's leadership badly. We need either an outstanding young talent or someone with a lot of experience.

Only 2 in and 3 out but I think this solves some of our biggest problems and puts the squad in better shape for the summer. Sissoko/Aurier have earned reprieves this season but upgrading both in the summer should be a priority.

Hojbjerg as the midfield destroyer with Ndomebele for the ball retention and driving forward, GLC for the added agression/passing is a very good midfield, feeding an attack of Sabitzer/Son/Kane.

They're my picks, who are yours?

Very similar

INS
  • Sabitzer - Lo Celso keeps getting injured and Ndombele isn't trusted with 90 minutes, therefore we can't keep falling back on Winks/Sissoko to be the answer cause they are not. Sabitzer moves the ball quicker but more importantly he is very good in the final third.
  • Anguissa - Really developing now and he has some similar qualities as Sissoko, just much better technically. I wouldn't expect him to come on and improve us immediately but I would expect him to give much more versatility than Sissoko.
  • or Soumare - Lille may need to sell and he would be much better in attacking transition than Sissoko

OUTS
  • Alli
  • Winks
  • Sanchez
  • Lucas - give role to Jack Clarke instead
All four sell to fund purchases.

Is this supposed to be for January? As some of these (RB) will be unrealistic after only 6 months of Doherty.

Out:

- Sanchez
- Doherty
- Winks
- Sissoko
- Bale
- Lucas
- Dele
- Davies

In:

- Skipp
- Sessegnon
- Grealish, Eze, James Ward Prowse or Bellingham
- Madueke
- New RB (not sure who)
- New CB

Some transfers could be possible in winter, some in summer

INS
Sabitzer - very good replacement for Dele
Botman - left-footed, very good aerially, one of the best centre back this season in Ligue 1
Celik - we were linked with him last summer and he already improved a lot
Soumare/Sanches/Anguissa/Bissouma - any decent midfielder will be upgrade on Sissoko
David Brooks - smart to replace Lamela and/or Lucas with homegrown option

OUT
Dele
Davinson
Aurier - Dan Kilpatrick mentioned he could leave this winter given his contract situation, smart to sell him when he's still in good form
Sissoko
Lamela and/or Lucas

January window will be tough but I can imagine Levy sanctioning certain deals if we can get a player the cheap or cheaper than what they would have been before COVID.

In:
Sabitzer
Centre Back (Experienced pro e.g Ramos or Skriniar if price is right)

Out:
Alli (preferably on loan)
Sanchez
Gedson (loan terminated)

In
Skriniar or other top class center half
Eriksen? Do I dear say that we should try to get him back? We need another player in midfield who knows how to handle a football.
Sabitzer. Dont know much about this geezer but im told hes good.
But id take Skriniar and Eriksen in a heartbeat.

Out
Following should be considered:
Winks
Gazzaniga
Lamela
Alli
Sanchez
That doesnt mean I want to offload all. It depends who we get in. Im also very fond of some of these guys (dele and lamela..)

If we get Skriniar and Eriksen we could sell Winks, dele and gazzaniga. That will do.

This summer IMO we will see a lot leaving. Lucas, Lamela, Winks, Dele, Sanchez, Foyth, Gazza, Sissoko, Aurier, Possibly Toby. These are not all players I want to see leave just who I think will be gone.

Never going to happen but players I would like to see.
Players in: Dunk, Ward Prowse, Brooks, Skriniar, Zaha, another DM.

Ins:

Adama Traore - his bursts of pace could suit our counter attack well
David Brooks - a good passer could really help our midfield out
Sabtizer - no idea who he is but everyone else wants him

Outs:

Alli - just think it's time for a fresh start
Moura - I don't rate him
Sanchez - not good enough

Id be surprised if Levy is able to sell anyone other than Dele with the current covid climate + january being a low action window regardless, but

in: sabitzer / skriniar
out: lucas, winks, sanchez, dele

Take advantage of Lille's finances, a package deal that helps us short term and in the long run finding Lloris' future replacement.

In
Mike Maignan (let Lille keep him for this and the next season)
Boubakary Soumaré (have him join immediately)
Jonathan Ikoné (let Lille keep him for rest of the season)
David Brooks

Out
Paulo Gazzaniga
Danny Rose
Gedson Fernandes
Dele Alli
