Coentrao clearly didn't want us. We tried to make him part of the Bale deal and tried for him seperately. He clearly doesn't rate us as we're not CL and wants to play for a bigger club. Can't blame him, to be honest.

At least this way we'll get to see if he really is all he's cracked up to be. If he can't oust an ageing Evra then he's clearly not cut out for a top Premiership team. We'll see...
