All that tells you is he is a Chelsea fan. Defoe was an Arsenal fan, Holtby an Everton fan, Parker a Spurs fan turned us down twice to go to Newcastle and then West Ham. Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen were Everton fans.

I'm not saying we will get him but if we were seen as a good team for his development, I believe he would sign (especially if Chelsea didn't bid).

And he just signed a 5 year contract with them this window when he could have left. And he starts every week for a Premier League team
