What exactly is Sessegnon’s injury and what is the timeframe for his return? He seems to be permanently crocked!

I have no idea to be honest?? I remember him getting a hamstring injury iirc playing for England u21s before we signed him and he hasn’t really had a run of games since

Benitez saying it would've been a foul anywhere else on the pitch... of course it would because it would mean the keeper had handled the ball outside his box. (y)

Interviewer: What do you need to improve?

Nuno: We need to be better.

Conte: We need to.... *proceeds to go on a 5 minute explanation of every aspect that need a work*

You can see EXACTLY how we are going to improve because Conte is telling us exactly what is needed and what he's going to do

Never fails to infuriate me when you just know that any decent team would be bringing on another pacy attacker( or 2) to change the dynamic up front and then you remember we haven't got one. Absolute unforgivable shambolic failure yet again this summer.
I think it's clear that Paratici was banking on a Kane sale and he'd have brought in 2.

That didn't happen and the club knew we needed attacking reinforcements but with Nuno asking for Traore that probably put a kerb on everything.

Go ahead and get Traore and you are stuck with a player and have spent a chunk of reinforcement when you inevitably sack Nuno.

Sign another attacker and you probably end up pissing off Nuno who can clearly see he isn't going to be backed.

We put ourselves in that situation because for years we've not got in adequate support.

none were the issue today.
Well I'd argue if we had peak Maldini instead of Davies, peak Costercurta instead of Dier and Robero Carlos replacing Reggy instead of donkey Doherty then I reckon we'd have won that game.

So yes they are part of the problem.

You'll alway risk not winning these types of games when you have Davies as a starter. Should be knowhere near.

We didn't lose and we got a point away from home but it still showed that many of the squad are just not good enough. The trouble is that you're not going to get in and out many players in the next transfer window and it's going to be a long haul to get this side with a couple of buys into any sort of team that can compete with best.
I watched the West Ham Liverpool game and realised that West Ham are a much better side than us and play quick attacking football that is good to watch and that's a big dissapointment and hard to take.
I think sometimes we see our players especially the more recent buys as better than they really are because they are our players.
Conte has a big job in trying to mould this side in to something good even with a couple of buys in January. He's not Superman but if anyone can do it he can providing he doesn't throw in the towel early.
I have faith in him, we have to as we have nothing else but he must be thinking this is his biggest challenge yet. The next few weeks will be interesting as he tries to shape this side into what he expects of his team and to see who can and can't shape up.

No you can’t but on another day we could easily have scored a couple.
It is ridiculous that a shot from 25 yds which hits the post is off target, but a shot from 30 yards that bounces four times and goes straight to the keeper is on target.
Pointless stats which also don’t include shots blocked which were on target.
Ah well so that’s unbeaten on our last 9 prem lge visits to Goodson Park.

2 centre halves and 2 midfielders needed. If Rodon doesn’t get a game before Xmas ?????

Pretty sure we didn't win today because we didn't create enough clear cut chances and those we did create went wide/over or hit the post.

Not sure the defenders could have done any more than they did? In fact, technically by keeping a clean sheet, along with Hugo, they did their part.

We created very little for ourselves, and quite a lot for them, by constantly firing short, simple passes straight to Everton players. These were unforced errors, and I think can be eliminated, without losing the pace of passing that we were showing.

Why aren’t we topping the table already?
People were saying he was one of the world’s best managers but we are still rubbish and he’s been here for a while..
This Italian bloke needs to put it right by the next match or I’ve had it with football.
