Draw today at noon. We can meet any of 15 contenders, no restrictions:
Almost only really cool and reputable competition, can't understand why anyone wouldn't want us to compete in this part of EL.
Who would you want us to meet?
Qualified teams
I'd prefer Braga, and let all the other heavy weights fight it out between them selves to get rid of some.
- Anderlecht
- Sparta Prague
- Liverpool
- Manchester United
- Tottenham Hotspur
- Bayer Leverkusen
- Borussia Dortmund
- Lazio
- Braga
- Athletic Bilbao
- Sevilla
- Valencia
- Villarreal
- Basel
- Fenerbahçe
- Shakhtar Donetsk
Alternatively, ManUtd to ship them out of the competition.
Matches 10th & 17th of March.
I like your approach. I'd just want to have one more round without facing any of the big ones before we get into the thick of it. That's just my general preference for this stage of any tournament. A bit luck with the draw never hurt anyone.Dortmund. I want to see us play the big teams and it's not too far away.
Noon is UK time. 13.00 CET.Noon today. Not sure if that's UK time, however.
And they have a really good assister up front ... (Roberto Assistado).Lots of people saying Villareal, they're one of those teams that we'd really struggle to break down IMO, even Napoli's potent attack only managed 1 goal in 2 games, probably top of my list to avoid in the next round.
Separate draw 18th of March. Is the draw today also include QF?
Yes. Completely open draw, no restrictions. We could draw ManU or Liverpool, no?
How many of the last 16 are champions league dropouts i wonder? I could look it up but am a bit lazy.
Is the draw today also include QF?
Don't fancy Anderlecht. They looked proper dangerous in the two group games.Sparta, Anderlecht and Braga would be easier.
Rest is fairly solid.
I have a feeling we will draw a Spanish side.
Villarreal. Would be nice to welcome Soldado back to the lane, and I personally think they're beatable over 2 legs despite their decent domestic season.
In terms of ease, It would be Braga or Sparta Prague.
