Is tomorrow I believe! For the playoff rounds  we are obviously seeded. Games will take place on the 18th and 25th August. Thought I'd give you all a heads up as I'm quite looking forward to watching our younger players in action!

If we get past this round do we get into the group stages? Or is there still some way to go before that?

The winners from the play-off round go into the group stage... Tomorrow's draw includes the losers from the CL 3rd qualifying round (ie Rangers)

Yeah when 11/12 is complete, it will replace the 06/07 figure. Right now we're 3rd.

This assumes the higher ranked team wins in the 3rd round (any team with a 3 by their name).

(Scroll down to 4th qualifying round)

Note the 2nd leg of the 3rd round is today. Any team in the seeded column that loses means the highest ranked team from the unseeded ccolumn becomes seeded.

This means teams like Partizan Belgrade, Young Boys, Hannover, FSV Mainz will likely become seeded. This probably means our toughest draw would be someone like Bursaspor, CSKA Sofia, or a trip out to that team in Georgia or Israel.

There's already another thread on the Europa league....

Hoping we get a team that's not too far away, northern europe basically. Then again if we rest players it won't matter too much. Hopefully we do rest players so they're fresh for the ManU/Citeh game

Slask, an unseeded team just beat Lokomotiv Sofia on penalties. That doesn't effect us but it seems rarer for an underdog to win in europe.

Thun beat Palermo which should mean a team ,Partizan Belgrade, that was expected to be unseeded is now seeded. It's also good news for the Bundesleague who will be getting an extra CL spot next season and will hold on to it longer if their teams outperform the serie A clubs.

Is the draw on SSN? Though I noticed yesterday Sky Sport News is no longer part of my package anymore.

Anyone else (who doesn't subscribe to Sky Sports) notice that? Or is it just me?

I try not to watch the shite anyway, especially this summer. Would have been handy for the draw though.

Nice not to have to be poised by the computer to book Ryan Air or Easyjet, within seconds of the draw being made, before flights go through the roof. Living away does have some advantages. (45 Euros to Madrid for our last match )
