Whether he is successful here or not, Jose Mourinho is one of the biggest names in football, up there and bigger than a lot of big name players. Just look how many social media followers we've gained since his appointment. ENIC will be loving that.
Hiring a DOF will erase all doubt for me that this is purely a football decision and not just one to give the illusion that we're a big club by hiring him (with all the press that comes with him) then proceeding to not back him in the transfer market.
Agree, got no time for irrational arguments, never mind the "I don't care if it's true or not, it's still right".
Too many people seem to hate our ownership because it's not like the likes of Chelsea's, ignoring that those guys invest their own money, but consider it a "loan" and aren't investing it for free. Chelsea don't have the facilities we have. City don't even own their own stadium. Man Utd and Arsenal are just cash cows for their owners.
Out for sure, Spurs just a cash cow for them. Mourinho appointment was more to do with them scared of missing out on the cash of the Champions League than them suddenly wanting to win trophies (they couldn't care less about that IMO).
Thought Man City did actually purchase it in the end for 30 odd mill

Even if Lewis did own the club (he doesn't), I still don't understand why he should be obliged to provide direct funding. I support ENIC's ownership of the club as it has been transformative - THFC in 2019 is unrecognisable from what existed in 2001 - and they have got us into a position to challenge sustainably for the big prizes.Your right Suarez was actually Down you harry. But the last 10 years is the same old story we tried for so and so but In the last day of the window it failed. If Lewis back Us for once we could of won the league under Harry Redknapp and poch. But he hasn’t it’s a big money pot for him. How can you possibly support him. 19 years ago he brought the club he’s put less than 19million of his money in to this club we have one cup to show for it
Joe Lewis is the majority shareholder of ENIC(70.6%) with the remaining belonging to a trust in the name of Daniel Levy’s family(29.4%). ENIC owns 85.55% of the club. In essence, it’s very much fair to say that Joe Lewis is the majority owner of the club. Somehow, Tavistock(another investment company owned by Joe Lewis) is involved, as proven by their website, but dont ask me how.Even if Lewis did own the club (he doesn't), I still don't understand why he should be obliged to provide direct funding. You dont object to them spending a lot of money to rescue the possibility of champions league qualification do you ? You think that’s a good thing too right ?Mourinho will live or die by our transfer strategy.
There were a lot of poor/average signings during Pochettino’s time and this needs to be fixed now.
How anyone can ridicule this post is crazy.
Enic have had opportunities under both Redknapp and Pochettino to invest a title push and they never spent the money.
They spend money when they are scared of losing Champions League football.
Can such people tell us who would buy us and then provide the funds they seem to feel ENIC should ?My penny's worth? Any one who says that ENIC / Levy have no ambition for the club, have never backed Poch, and is using the club as a cash cow and therefore should be replaced, in my book are simpletons with an IQ the size of their respective shoes.

Was that really necessary?Calling someone's opinion dumb is a bit low and cowardly but it just shows what type of person you are
