I wonder who's going to takeover captaincy duties? Kane, if he stays?
Agree re Gio, I think he would work well in his system. He has attacking 8s required to join the attack. So I think lo celso personally. None of the others really. I doubt regs would do the tucked in full back role.

Probably would but I want Lee Kang in and Alex Scott as our attacking mids….Agree re Gio, I think he would work well in his system.
I guess, though they’re not really comparable as Ange has been a coach for almost 30 years so him and Arteta are at totally different points in their career.I think for Ange to get where he's got as a coach he's had to be a lot better as a coach than Arteta had to be. Arteta got his chances because of his playing career. Would love to see the reaction if Levy appointed Pep's current number 2 to be our number 1
True...as voted by the players.Poch made Kaboul captain first. Don't forget it's not always instantaneous
Come on, they have done numerous times in the past imo.
We have to anyway because the squad is too big. I think we'll see players on their last year released and others who can't be sold will be loaned. Either way anyone who doesn't fit his ethos will be left in the cold. I think we can form a squad already with players who will work for him as the squad is so big. It then comes down to the quality of those and if we can upgrade on some of them. I still expect a few players not good enough left over but if he gets them working hard for the team that lack of quality is not going to hurt us much. Poch certainly had some pretty poor players in his first year but they all brought in. Mason a perfect example, showed great attitude and did a job for the squad before he was sold.Problem we have is we can't shift player because of the market. We can't just get rid of players that don't buy in. Besides I don't really see many of our squad as bad eggs that wouldn't buy into a new manager. Some of them might not have the skillset/ability but I doubt any of them would just down tools.
I like the look of him and he's definitely a better fit than a Conte or mourinho.I don't know if he was the 'best' manager that we could have achieved.
I don't know if he'll be a success.
I do know that for the first time in a long time I have already started to foster a deeper connection with Spurs again just based on the little I have read and watched of Big Ange.
So for me - bring it on, and fucking COYS.
