It’s not laughter or banter - read it wearing rubber gloves and wellies. Sir David Attenborough could probably explain it better. I do know it usually means they’re not sure if it’s a good thing or not - a bit like us but not in a good way.
Ah ok, that sounds like some could be shitting the bed due to the “unknown factor”

I’ll take it.

I saw this and thought it would be great to sing at the first home game.

We’re all having a barbie
When big Ange wins the cup”

To be honest, if Chelsea or Arsenal appointed this guy I think we’d all be laughing our collective arses off. Hopefully we’ll have the last laugh but let’s not pretend that we’re any different to any other set of football fans.
Arsenal appointed City's number 2. Doesn't get much more embarrassing than that

The thing I like about this appointment, is he strikes me as a person that WANTS to prove people wrong and that could translate to a better showing in the cups. Not just sacrificing them because they are "too lowly" for them. At times it's felt like we have dumbed down our attempts because we are focusing on something else. He'll want to win something/anything just to prove he can. That's the hope anyway.

Depending on how many Ange Cams there are...
Episode 1 “Ange yelling at dier”
Episode 2 “Ange yelling at Ndombele”
Episode 3 “Ange yelling at Dier and Ndombele”
Episode 4 “Ange yelling at a toaster “
.
.
.
Episode 2986 “Ange yelling at Levy”

And I think we all had a good laugh at the time didn’t we. Cone boy etc etc.

I’d say a young coach with top flight experience at arguably the best club in the world is a little different to a guy who’s almost 60 who never coached in any of Europes top leagues before. You’re right though it was a funny appointment.

Terrible video. Why is he saying Porro RB, Perisic would be LB and Ben Davies LCB and Richarlison RW, all likely wrong.

Lets see who Big Ange recruits and who he wants to bring back from loan, for example Reguillon could be perfect for his marauding LB position, Lenglet would be better for LCB than Davies! Emerson likely better for RB than Porro, Kulu likely to play RW and/or or possibly Porro or we sign another RW.

my 5 year old nephew called me on the way to work this morning to tell me he saw us on the news that we were getting a new manager, nothing ground breaking but having more coverage of us down here in Aus is one major positive i'm taking from this

To be honest like a number of supporters He wasn't my choice but then we all think we know best. Winning trophies in Scotland as we all know is not a difficult job if your Celtic and occasionally Rangers. However I'm right behind him and hope he turns out like another at the time underwhelming choice, Poch. He seems to play exciting football so that's a good start. I hope he's able to move a number of players on otherwise I don't think Levy will back him with a large budget and we all know this squad needs a real overhaul. If we don't sort the defense out it's going to be a long painful season. I don't think he's a yes man so hopefully he can lay it on the line to Levy and get what he want's. I'm cautiously optimistic especially if Kane stays another year but without him even with a stronger defense we will miss his goals and assists. I hope Ange can persuade him to stay but then he may not be the manager Kane was hoping for.

Some fans disliked Antonio because they believed that he thought he was too good for the club.
Some fans are not in favour of Ange's appointment as they believe he is not of the right level for the club.

Out of interest, does anyone here fall in both these camps?
Someone in Holland probably slots right in for some fans. 😁
