Couldn't even do that when he was at Bristol City. Had a miserable attitude, played his way out of the team, and left the City fans happy to wave goodbye to someone they considered to be a lazy, arrogant prima donna.

I have heard several blokes telling me the same thing. When he was at Bristol apparently he was Mr flash. Turning up in his flash cars, clothes. Didn't go down well with the Bristol players.

I live in Bristol, and heard nothing but negative reviews from my Bristol City-supporting mates (they worshipped Caulker by the way). One of the biggest criticisms was that he'd strut around like he was god's gift to football, then stand there looking annoyed when he lost the ball, instead of trying to win it back. Plus I don't think he made any positive contribution the entire time he was there.

How times have changed!

He was like that when I watched him play for Sunderland as well. I never got why they thought he was amazing. Should have flogged him to them last summer.

Doesn't surprise me. To many stories about him being flash for there not to be any truth about them.

I'm opened minded about him staying for another season. I do not think he is good enough to be our number 1 LB though.

Rose isn't as shit as people are making out but he's definitely not good enough for us. Mid-table standard imo. Having said that, I have a nasty feeling he'll be our starting lb next season

6m for Rose would be incredible.

For a young, English, Prem-proven (if not that impressive) player I'd say thats just about right. There's still a good chance Rose will turn out to be a decent bottom-half fullback as he was at Sunderland, and the English premium keeps getting steeper and steeper.

Would we then sign another LB if we sold Rose to compete with Davies or would we just roll with Davies/Fryers/Vertonghen?

I wouldn't be opposed to adding Bastian Oczipka on the cheap as competition for Davies should Rose leave.

Are we selling Benny?

I think too much was asked of Danny Rose to provide attacking overlap on the left and like Bale he is not a natural defender. He also does not have Walker`s engine to get back..

He was actually good early in the season and I think would do well in a three at the back system where he would get more protection. If his decision making and danger sensing was improved he would actually be decent. I think our problem is we have too many defenders who all have a mistake in them.

It probably is about right but I think most of us would take any offer above £2.5 million for him just to get rid of him and his big I am.

I'd sell him for 6p. I don't remember disliking a Spurs player so much since, err, Tim Sherwood. A terrible player and seems a really horrible young man.

I'd be happy with Fryers as back-up to Davies, and not replacing either Rose or BAE.

If Hull are offering £6 million I'm willing to drive him there if he needs a lift. Actually I'd do it for £6.00 but don't tell Brucie that.

I reckon 'Arry would be all over this if Rose is definitely looking for a move. Only problem is that it leaves us short of cover at LB again.
