I have to say this has to be stupidest contract ever given by our club bar none. He is not good enough even for a back up to Davies. Whoever made this decision needs to have a long hard look at themselves he is a liability in the way he plays the game and in attitude.

Get an alert that X, Y and Z have retweeted a message from @SpursOfficial :D

Reads "We are delighted to announce that Danny Rose has committed his future to the Club with the signing of a new five-year contract." :(

I'm guessing MP thought he is worth keeping. If he can get the best out of him, that's good enough for me!

As I just said on the Daily Discussion thread - at Sunderland he seemed to play VERY well, and I think most of us thought that would continue when he returned to us. Maybe we should have questioned the coaching and tactics employed by AVB and Sherwood a little more.
If Pochettino can coach him well and get better out of him, then he could become very good cover for Davies.
