Our record there is shit even before they were good so I expect another usual defeat but this time by a narrow margin say 2-1

This is bigger than Arsenal for me. I absolutely hate them.

Really need Conte to get that monkey off his back and win.

I look at the team now and we actually don’t have a weak link which they can expose. Maybe Hojberg, but it’s only a matter of time until bissouma replaces him. This is by far the fittest hungriest spurs squad I’ve ever seen in my life. I think we can beat them tomorrow.

If we go there and win, woah it'll be a massive boost for the club.

Chelsea away is one of the only remaining fixtures the team has mental fatigue in. If we want to be a top side we have to prove it in games like tomorrow.

A lot of people will probably disagree but I would 100% take a draw right now.

Our record there is shambolic.

That's the safe option but I love a bit of jeopardy and I want the win. I want to make a statement here... A win would be that extra catalyst for the next 14 games until the world cup...

His forward passing is very good. He’s involved in a large number of our goals even if he’s not assisting them directly.

When thinking about the game earlier today I realised that I can't remember getting a single penalty at Stamford Bridge during my time supporting Spurs (almost 20 years). Kane have slotted a few at the Emirates,. We've got two consecutive penalties at Old Trafford in the last two seasons, at Anfield we got two penalties within a couple of minutes in that crazy 2-2 (Wanyama screamer) game. At the Etihad we got a penalty in the 1-2 win in the 15/16 season.

Looking at the h2h games I can see that we at least haven't scored a penalty at the Bridge since 1994 (Andy Gray scored). Can anyone remember if we've missed a penalty at the Bridge since then or if it's indeed been 28 years since we last had a penalty away to Chelsea?

We did get one ten minutes after the one Andy Gray scored... Andy Gray missed it

Our record there is shambolic.

It's a different set of players, different manager, different mentality and I'm more hopeful than the last time we lost to them!

Haha, that's insane, just found the clip on youtube - sounds like a Chelsea - Spurs fixture alright with us missing a pen at 3-3 and they scoring a pen to make it 4-3 in stoppage time.....

Point still remains though, was this the last game we got a penalty at Stamford Bridge or does anyone remember any other missed penalties since then?

Seems like that day was the last one! These lists are a bit out of date, but there certainly haven't been any in recent seasons:

Got to be due one surely

A solid start to the season with a 4-1 win over Southampton should be cause for early season optimism. This is then tempered by the fact that our next opponents are Chelsea. They laboured to a handy 1-0 win away at Everton but history tells us that no matter how the two teams are doing, Tottenham ritually roll over and let Chelsea tickle their tummy while handing over the points. We played this mob no less than four times last season and failed to show up in any of them. No goals scored and four straight losses, three of them under Conte.
However, all three were pre-Bentancur and pre-Kulusevski and I believe that we are a totally different proposition than they faced last season. Those two improved us massively and we now have the likes of Richarlison and Bissouma as well to make us even better. I don't fear this Chelsea team at all. They are in transition- letting Lukaku and Werner go and bringing in Sterling is not what I would call strengthening and letting both of Christensen and Rudiger go for Koulibaly isn't necessarily better either, especially given how much of a menace Rudiger has been to us in recent matches at both ends of the pitch. I fancy us strongly to get a rare and valuable three points on Sunday and I forsee a 3-1 win for Tottenham. COYS!

I don’t even want to scrape a win.
I want to fuck them up.
I want the little chavvy kids crying to their chavvy dads about how shit their horrible, disgusting, racist club has become.

So bizarre, it's like the school holidays are ending and you've had such a great summer.
Now it's first year in secondary school and some terrifying teachers and big bad boys await. Yet somewhere amongst the fear is the excitement that you are a big boy now and life is gonna be amazing

Perfect time to play them, they have some injuries, fitness levels aren't great and will probably buy Fofana, Aubameyang and De Jong soon. Our record there is putrid but all those games were without Kuluševski.
