Maybe if the fans were a little more positive Roger that would transmit to the players on the pitch?

“Roger the positivity dodger”.
I didn't want to say it because it'll probably jinx the fucking thing but I've got a really strong feeling that we're going to win this game.
Just think we're gonna be stronger, fitter, more organised and have more desire than them.
COYS!!

Never once felt confident of a win against Chelsea, I do now. We are bigger, stronger, fitter, more confident and have better players than we have had for a very long time.

Yeah its my job to be permenantly positive for these delicate souls being paid an absolute fortune to do one job.

Me on an Internet forum must have caused all ther years of us bottling semis and finals.

Well, whatever floats your boat I suppose. Personally I think: “Roger, the positivity dodger” looks better! :sneaky:

A lot of people will probably disagree but I would 100% take a draw right now.

Our record there is shambolic.

He’ll be fine, he’s had a couple of impact injuries which are just plain bad luck and the trouble with his groin was very unfortunate and due to injections wasn’t it?
Yeah, I'm not worried about the lad, you can't account for a broken foot in training and his long term injury was just bad luck.
He'll be fine, apart from maybe having a fight on his hands for games.

I see no reason to be anything other than very positive for this game. We're an established team and they are cobbled together. We've hit the ground running and they spluttered to an unconvincing win. We've had a full week to prepare and I'm confident we're fitter and better prepared. We're a completely different prospect to the past few seasons and we probably have the most frightening front line in the EPL. We have an incredible bench now full of game changers and we have Antonio Conte.

I think the advantage is that we have developed out structure and patterns of play in the image of our manager. This Chelsea team haven't yet done that because they are still being put together but they still have outstanding individuals. Looking forward to this very much but a real test.

Listening to my Chelsea-supporting husband play down their chances is actually making me more nervous! This time I think he actually believes they will get beaten which feels like the pressure is on!

He's just playing it down so if they win he can boast more.

Tbf we have both learned to keep a bit quiet. Usually he does play down chances although this time I think he does actually believe it. I’m tentative not because I don’t believe we shouldn’t be able to beat them, but because we find a way not to turn up or get our knickers in a twist.

The Manu result will take most of the attention off us if we lose to Chelsea

We're in a much better state than them atm. Usually that would be negated by our Chelsea mental block, but Conte won't allow it. We'll win

I feel positive. However (!) I think Spurs of old would have a player sent off and I fear for Romero... Head thinks we will get a draw. Heart says we will take them 4 nil.

Fuck that.

You think Conte has that mentality.

He'll not give a fuck about our record there...he'll be fixated on our game plan and preparations for tomorrow.

They're there for the taking.
