Welcome to the Spurs Vs Chelsea Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

Potter showed how to beat us last year, this will be difficult. They will have lots of possession and our defenders will be under pressure. Need Kulusevski and Son to play better if we want to win this. They have some chemistry issues and lack a striker, could be a draw if our defenders don't gift them goals.

I think I hate Chelsea more than anyone else.

Dunno how to call this one. Attacking wise they have quite the player, defensively they can be got at. Pretty much what we're like!

If we stay in the game into the second half when we start to play I fancy us.

Think this is going to be tougher than people might be thinking, Chelsea made a lot of changes versus Southampton
James, Sterling, Silva, Havertz and Mudryk all didn’t start that game.
I’d expect most to be recalled.

Yes they’re in bad form but are still creating loads of chances, Forster and our defence will be busy for sure, will they stand up to the test.

Hate these almost as much as Arsenal.

With Newcastle and United not playing this weekend (Newcastle next league game is City away and United's is Liverpool away) this could be a crucial opportunity to solidify 4th spot and close the gap on 3rd.

Plus a win would build solid momentum after smashing West Ham and we have a very nice run of league games coming up. This could be a turning point. Need to hit them hard and fast as I feel an early goal from us will break their spirits. COYS.

After Sunday 5 of our next 6 League games are against relegation threatened teams. If we can snatch the points on Sunday I'm very confident we can put a run together.

Going on Sunday with the old man and sister, hoping for a good atmosphere and a win.

Usually bricking it against these lot and whilst I expect them to have a lot of the ball, I'm quietly confident we will win this one.

First goal will be key imo.

Forster

Porro or Emerson

Romero
Dier
Lenglet
Davies (It'll likely be Perisic)

PEH
Sarr

Kulu or Richy
Kane
Son

I would go just as we did against WH

Forster
Emerson - Romero - Dier - Lenglet - Davies
PEH - Skippy
Kulu - Kane - Richy

bring Sonny and Sarr on at 65'

Every week. Every match. Every opponent. Someone writes this. And while it isn’t strictly false, we still win 50%+ of our matches despite doing nothing of the kind ?
