Yeah and Benta, Romero and the likes of bissouma, perisic, Ritchie etc all from the bench.

Have we settled on calling him Benta? Because for me its such a drag calling him bentancur - for some reason its just too much hard work for me. Bissy?

I do think Perisic may play but wouldnt be surprised if its the same team

I think it’ll be the same team after that performance. I think we’ll see bissouma, wing backs at Ritchie on early.
Haha I dunno? I call him Benta though.

Any momento we have, as has been mentioned, is thrown out of the window. It's a capital derby so we start at equal level. COYS

Sat next to Reece James in a coffee shop last week - I had a word, wished him well for the season but hoped he’d have an absolute stinker v us

James OG today - you heard it here first…

I feel another battle of the bridge today, Romero to be in beast mode and set the tone early by taking out whoever is up front for them ?

Please no, we’re not that lot up the road.

We are currently 7th in the league. Draw with Chelsea we go 4th. Beat them we go 3rd, beat them by 2 clear goals we go 2nd, beat them by 4 clear goals we are back on the top of the league. COYS!

I'd be more worried that the ref will produce an early card as this fixture can get a bit tasty, and Romero does have a reputation for going in hard, fair or not. I don't trust the refs, especially in the big games these days

Any win with 3 clear goals puts us back on top due to goals scored.

Not sure why we'd stop at 3 though.

Funny they are saying we haven’t improved our first 11 at all. They are ignoring that Kulu, Benta didn’t play against them last season, neither did Romero. So that’s at least 3 players they haven’t faced, then add in bissouma, perisic etc if they play.

this is the kind of game I wish spence was fully up to speed. His pace and strength would be great pretty useful against them.

midfield battle and Romero be sterling is so key today. Hope Romero can stop him as then the rest of their attack don’t really worry me. Our wing backs need to be on theirs too, stop them getting any space to cross.

Considering this was our last team against them at the bridge I'd say we've improved

Too much bravado in here. Never bodes well. Let’s see if we can actually withstand the press at Stamford bridge, work the ball through midfield and get a foothold in the game. The weather might help though.

After reading the shed end. They actually fear kulusevski more than son and Kane.

Haha, that's insane, just found the clip on youtube - sounds like a Chelsea - Spurs fixture alright with us missing a pen at 3-3 and they scoring a pen to make it 4-3 in stoppage time.....

Point still remains though, was this the last game we got a penalty at Stamford Bridge or does anyone remember any other missed penalties since then?
I haven’t checked the Chelsea history in detail, but in the Abramovich era, the issue was not that we do not get penalties against Chelsea. The issue has been that Chelsea’s defence do not give away penalties. Especially not at Stamford Bridge.

As usual, it’s not all about Spurs.
