Why are Lucas and Kane trying to press the defence AND the midfield? Completely ridiculous. Lucas needs to drop into the midfield and Hojbjerg, Skipp and Lucas need to get tight to Saul and Jorginho. ALL their play comes through the middle. It's not that hard to see!! Lucas is caught in two minds the whole time, jogging forward and running back, while they pass around him. Conte needs to wake up and change strategy.

So true. In a 3-4-3 the 4 are vital.
The wing backs need to be a threat up and down and the midfield 2 need to control the game, neither of those things are happening at all.

Well, it's clear he doesn't trust certain players. Thats the real issue here.

Although, I imagine he probably felt like keeping the tie tight tonight, then playing Winks or Lo Celso at home.

Unfortunately, it's not only system. We have allowed the standard of the squad to drop significantly in terms of technical ability and we are just seeing the difference between a top team and one not close to that.

Why is there always this belief he will play Lo Celso on significant and important games? Conte would have done so in many past games but it was still be Hojbjerg and Skipp in the middle. It will still be Hojbjerg and Skipp in the middle for many games to come.

Emerson looks like a cart horse, he isn’t a RWB. we are apparently in for Traore. Why?! We lack cutenes and technical ability on the ball and our answer is to potentially sign Traore for 25 million. How will that improve us? It’s another head down pace merchant with no technical ability or end product. It’s exactly what we don’t need.


Look at Chelsea, they should be the blueprint, sign technical ball players not pace merchants who can’t pass the ball.

This club will never learn from their mistakes. Even Royal is so poor on the ball. What is our scouting and recruitment team doing?
