GLC is a good player but far too casual for me. Twice at the end he very nearly gave the point away ala Eriksen at City. No excuse after only playing a half. As for the rest of the team, I think second half we were set up sensibly, put some pressure on, but didn't make enough clear-cut chances to win the game. It was better, but not good enough for a squad with this much proven ability.
GLC is our best player right now, Kane aside, and we should build the team around him.

What are you paying "top dollar" for? You sure as hell aren't buying tickets unless you're sat at the games on your phone moaning in the match thread every week.

We're a club that has issues to be sorted, it wont be overnight so we have to stick it out this season and give Jose the time to do his thing. Dont give crap about not spending as in the last 12 months we have spent a load, it just hasnt quite worked. Such is life.

Today we improved, there are glimmers of hope where there werent any before, we can take what we choose from that, i choose to take positives as life is too damn short to look for the nuggets of crap in everything.

If you think season ticket prices are not top dollar then you obviously are not one. Poch had a net spend of 7.9mil every season he was there on average with ins and outs. Fucking championship clubs spend more. If that’s your ambition to think a point away to Burnley is a great result then fuck our club is doomed please fucking do one!!!!

Post update
Burnley 1-1 Tottenham
Since he took charge in November, Spurs have picked up 27 points in the Premier League.
Only Liverpool and Manchester City have earned more.

With the quality of squad and the injuries - that’s good enough for me

Hmm. We’ve been clutching to that fact since early February. He’s since got a point in three games. Shows how shit the league is but if we continue like this it won’t be the case for much longer

Back to back managers making the same mistake with this squad - it's fucking baffling (to me personally) I'd wish to never see a back three as the starting line again, like ever.

I don’t like us playing with a back 3 either

but I think it’s a consequence of our unbalanced squad. we currently have too many CBs

Has he called himself out for that first half?! You're the manager. Take some responsibility IMO

Nah he needs to up his game and he needs to do whatever it takes to do that.

Not a fan of managers calling out players but Ndombele needs a kick up the arse.

Agreed (barring Son too), but he does need to cut out those errors which are becoming a bit too regular.
I think you're being harsh. He's constantly trying things, always puts in a shift, never hides, and has tremendous skill.

Definitely not happy with Ndombele. No names mentioned, but you don’t need an ology to work out that he’s proper pissed with him, and rightly so.

Much better second half when we took the game to them, but it was glaringly obvious that we miss a proper finisher enormously.

First half was godawful, but I’m upbeat after the second half. The players stood up and grafted for that draw.

Happy with the effort, but there’s still an awful long way to go.

I hate Sky. It’s like The Sun of the sport broadcasting world. Jose clearly made it obvious he wasn’t happy but didn’t want to say more, everyone knew who he meant but Sky has to push and push for the name and headline. I fucking hate the slimy *****! Scum.

God I’m sick of Mourinho moaning. Had to turn him off.

I see he’s chosen Ndombele as his high profile target to fall out with. Does it at every club.

so far it’s worked well??? You know we lost 4 games on the bounce before this. Our form stinks. I could take it if it was the occasional half away from home but we are doing it at home as well against teams struggling at the bottom of the table.
oh and we aren’t getting near top 4. You can see us going on a winning run? Seriously? Wolves Sheff Wed, Chelsea and ManU are all playing far better football than us.
I want us to win, I wanted Jose to succeed and believed his hype he’d changed and would play progressive football but this isn’t that. It’s classic Jose without the ability to defend.

Liverpool lost 3 on the bounce to what's your point? It happens.

I don't know what to answer when you say we're not getting close to top 4 as that's just not true. We have been showing top 4 form since Mourinho took over and that's a fact. We were 14th in the league and trailing top 4 by 12 points or so and now we are a few points behind.

You may not like it, but it's the reality.

Jose Mourinho speaking to Sky Sports about Tanguy Ndombele, who was substituted at half-time: "I hope he uses every minute on the pitch and every minute knowing what the Premier League is to improve. Many fantastic players in their first season in a new country for different reasons they struggle. There have been many examples of that. He’s a player with great talent. He has to know he has to do much better and know I cannot keep giving him opportunities to play because the team is much more important."
