Not on about that I’m on about a club of our Europe stature with no striker, we are left in this position due to complete lack of investment. So when I’m paying top dollar to support my club then no I won’t give it a rest!!

Well we have moved homes to one of the best stadiums in the world so you are helping pay for that and one of the best managers in world football to build a team to play there. Keep paying please

Team is running on fumes, we could have started the game like that and ended up with injuries to Moura and Lo Celso (who was superb.)

Draw is a good result there, and better than we usually get at Turf Moor.

Genuinely don’t get why. Half of our team hasn’t played much football as we’ve got so many injuries. You can’t be running on fumes AND throwing a load of green players in.

Check out Wolves, they’ve got 10 players who’ve started over 30 games this season. We have 2, Toby and Serge. You can bump it up a bit with sub appearances but that’s fairly damning

Better 2nd half. But it couldn't have been worse than the first.

If we learnt anything today, its this current side have almost nothing going forward without Lo Celso. Huge difference 2nd half.

This season that means nothing really. People are looking at a draw with Burnley where we started off like they were Barca as a good result, world’s upside down

I think the pre-match pessimism was based on our recent results and general performances.

Even without important missing players like Kane and Son, we have better players than Burnley or Norwich and should be winning these games.

Injuries are not the only reason. Jan and Toby are a shadow of their old selves. Toby’s passes and clearances, in the past, used to land accurately at our forward players but today most of his clearances were erratic. Sanchez seems to be hot and cold.

What are you paying "top dollar" for? You sure as hell aren't buying tickets unless you're sat at the games on your phone moaning in the match thread every week.

We're a club that has issues to be sorted, it wont be overnight so we have to stick it out this season and give Jose the time to do his thing. Dont give crap about not spending as in the last 12 months we have spent a load, it just hasnt quite worked. Such is life.

Today we improved, there are glimmers of hope where there werent any before, we can take what we choose from that, i choose to take positives as life is too damn short to look for the nuggets of crap in everything.

What the ever living Jesus H Christ are you on about?
GLC is a good player but far too casual for me. Twice at the end he very nearly gave the point away ala Eriksen at City. No excuse after only playing a half. As for the rest of the team, I think second half we were set up sensibly, put some pressure on, but didn't make enough clear-cut chances to win the game. It was better, but not good enough for a squad with this much proven ability.

You tell me what good he has done?

Post update
Burnley 1-1 Tottenham
Since he took charge in November, Spurs have picked up 27 points in the Premier League.
Only Liverpool and Manchester City have earned more.

With the quality of squad and the injuries - that’s good enough for me

So much better when we are forced to attack and play our best attacking options. GLC is a wonderful player but wasted if we are just parking the bus. I feel a bit sorry for Ndombele as without other quality players around he struggles. Needs GLC with him. Shame Kane and Son are injured because Lo Celso will give them the ammunition they need to fire.

Because it's impossible to play with such intensity when you have a big game every 3-4 days. Mourinho knows this so he tries to set us up to conserve energy so we last out the season.

So far it's been working good and we're in the mix for top 4 (if you read the match thread or Mourinho thread you'd think we battling for survival. Guess that was somewhat true under the old managment though).

so far it’s worked well??? You know we lost 4 games on the bounce before this. Our form stinks. I could take it if it was the occasional half away from home but we are doing it at home as well against teams struggling at the bottom of the table.
oh and we aren’t getting near top 4. You can see us going on a winning run? Seriously? Wolves Sheff Wed, Chelsea and ManU are all playing far better football than us.
I want us to win, I wanted Jose to succeed and believed his hype he’d changed and would play progressive football but this isn’t that. It’s classic Jose without the ability to defend.

I agree. Wolves are brilliant. Their manager is like Poch was five years ago-getting the best out of a squad, getting them to play with a ‘never say die attitude’, playing as a team not as a bunch of individuals.

Can you really see him just chucking him in like that when today was a perfect opportunity to bring him on instead of Aurier ?

I suspect he’ll probably go with a front 3 of Lamela Dele Lucas

lamela won’t/can’t start on Tuesday
