Is it just me or Sherwood not even being on a bench an absolute resignation that the game was over before he start? (It was of course but I don't want my manager seeming like that).

A bit of a joke if you ask me. Almost smacks of arrogance and him saying he can't be bothered tonight.

We need to score and there's only 2 men in the box...
They don't need to score yet there's 4-5 players attacking...

If someone (Sherwood) had taken out Luisao in the first ten minutes of the game at WHL we could've been in with a chance of winning this.

As it is, he looks like he could score every time he touches the ball. Swap for Soldado ?

Integral:Necessary to make a whole complete; essential or fundamental:

He played 34 out of 38 league games, plus eleven in Europe. As I recall we were worse without him last season. That makes him in my opinion integral.

You may not like it, but what posted was factually correct. Now if you want to talk about this season, you will see I said he has been shit. However he definitely has not been shit for seasons like people are suggesting.

Last season was also his second highest for goals in his career.

factually

He may not have wanted to be anywhere near Jesus again after the home leg.

This is a great example of a group of individuals playing against a well organised team.

Benfica players clearly know eachother very well, and it shows in the chances they're creating for eachother, whereas were playing like they're all a bunch of strangers to eachother.

At least we haven't contrived to lose the tie deliberately like the Shaktar debacle.

..plus Clive & Andy are fucking useless and seem to love doing us down. Wanquers.

Got to say I think chadli and fryers have done pretty well.
For someone who was adamant that siggy was going to rip it up for us when we got him I have to put my hand up and say we need to get shot....

I agree.... time is up for the manager, Levy showing his cards have been dealt.
