It's pretty easy to find out the answer to that is 6 starts out of 8 he's been available for (7 league + 1 FA cup), and that he came on in the only other league match (against Chelsea).

Personally, I feel Tim has done some good things and some bad.
Overall I don't believe he is our guy for the future, but turns at to still be managing us in 10 years, then I'll be a happy man!
I support our manager and team in public, but not all the time amongst fellow supporters...

He's promoted Bentaleb, which by and large everyone is happy with. The chagrin you speak of is at how he wasn't using him wisely and 'throwing him into the lion's den'. Fryers and Kane had already made several first team appearances. Unless you're counting the kids on the bench out of necessity due to eleven first team injuries/suspensions, which is pretty tenuous really.
I'm astonished that anyone considers the football we've been playing for the last three months 'attractive attacking football'.
By that logic we should also be considering Tony Adams as manager.
We've not seen any significant improvement from any of the players on what we already know they are capable of. Whereas Thomas Müller and Bastian Schweinsteiger would completely disagree with your assessment of Van Gaal at Bayern.

Aderbayor has been playing the best I can remember.
Erikssen is delivering much more consistently; Chadli is starting to show what he is about; Naughton is looking much better.
How much that is down to settling in and getting regular playing time and how much to Tim is debatable, but we have seen improvement.

It has been a bit of a curate's egg, but that there have been entertaining spells in some matches, which is progress on where we were.

Given that it's not coherent English, yes. The correct turn of phrase would be "If Sherwood has a bad 6 months". Saying 'Sherwood has a bad 6 months' makes no grammatical sense. The If is important.
