BBC Live Text
19:50 GOAL - Benfica 2-2 Tottenham (agg 5-3) - Lima (pen)
Lima picks himself up, dusts himself down and rifles home the penalty with the final kick of the game.
19:35 GOAL - Benfica 1-2 Tottenham (agg 4-3) - Nacer Chadli
Hang on a cotton-pickin'.... Nacer Chadli swivels and sweeps home Harry Kane's knock-down from Aaron Lennon's far-post cross and there is an eerie silence around the Estadio da Luz. The home side are one goal away from being taken to extra time. Ten minutes to go...

19:34 GOAL - Benfica 1-1 Tottenham (agg 4-2) - Nacer Chadli
A daisycutter of the highest order. Nacer Chadli belts a low, skidding shot past the outstretched glove of Jan Oblak and in at the near post.
19:31 SUBSTITUTION - Benfica 1-0 Tottenham (agg 4-1)
Erksen for Townsend
19:27 SUBSTITUTION - Benfica 1-0 Tottenham (agg 4-1)
Kane for Saldado
HALF-TIME - Benfica 1-0 Tottenham (agg 4-1)
Not a single second of injury-time. Tottenham troop down the tunnel and they are going to need one heck of a pep-talk to turn this one round.
18:35 GOAL - Benfica 1-0 Tottenham (agg 4-1) - Ezequiel Garay
Surely that is curtains for Tottenham. Eduardo Salvio breezes past Aaron Lennon, who looks like he is set in concrete, and clips a cheeky little cross into the Spurs six-yard box. Ezequiel Garay arrives late on the scene and meets the hovering ball with a bullish header to give Brad Friedel no chance. The visitors need three to force extra time.18:09 YELLOW CARD - Benfica 0-0 Tottenham (agg 3-1)
Luisao has a sly grab of Roberto Soldado's shirt to hold up the Spaniard as he threatens to get in behind him. Spotters badge for referee Damir Skomina who issues a yellow card to the Benfica man.

Tottenham have defensive problems as they seek to overturn a 3-1 deficit in the second leg of their Europa League last 16 tie against Benfica.

Younes Kaboul is suffering from an unspecified injury, while fellow centre-backs Vlad Chiriches, Michael Dawson and Jan Vertonghen are also out.

Defensive midfielder Sandro might have to play as a makeshift centre-back.

England right-back Kyle Walker may also miss the trip to Portugal because of a groin complaint.

"We've nothing to lose," winger Andros Townsend said about Thursday's tie.

"We're two goals behind from the home leg, so we can go there, have a go and see what happens."

Kaboul's a doubt after picking up a knock against the scum apparently, Dawson and Vlad are still injured and Vert's banned.
Time to give the revolutionary 2-7-1 formation a runout by the looks of it !

So the centrebacks could end up being Fryers and Veljkovic ????

Very hard to get motivated for this game, after the last few results. However I'm sure that will all change tomorrow night. COYS

Nothing to lose, just tell whoever is out there to play with freedom and do what they want. We lose, we lose. If we win, it'll be one of the most memorable nights in Tottenham history.
