Bentley isnt the type of winger Ramos likes so wont be a wing signing if we were to get him... however he does probably fit the bill of the type of centre mid Ramos uses as he is good on the ball and can pick a pass allowing the use of pacey wingers.... But if asked if i thought we would sign him i'd say no definently

Right now, Bentley is better than Lennon. But people keep acting like Lennon is crap, when he isn't. He's just had a poor season.

He started the season injured, then came into a team that was struggling at the bottom of the table. Then we got a new manager. It's not exactly been an ideal season for anyone, let alone a kid of 20. Personally, I think he has the skill, pace and vision to be a fantastic player and I'd definitely want to give him a season or two more before getting rid of him.

I would like to see Bentley join us, despite his previous club history. His delivery is better than both Lennon and Malbranque, with either foot, his set piece delivery is excellent and his long range passing and shooting is very good. As long as he doesnt play in the centre I think he is a quality player

Bentley has so much more to his game. I would swap him for Lennon at the drop of a hat.

I also think Berbs would be happier with him than Lennon with his early but very accurate passing.

I dont see why everyone is complaining about Lennon. Sure he's had a few bad games of late, but the lad is 20 years old for fuck sake. Too soon to be kicking him, he's obviously a confidence player, just lacking a bit at the moment.

18, 20, 25? does it matter what his age is?

Look at his progress & development since he came to us............. there is little or none.

At the time we got him, he was one of the 'bright new breed' of home-grown talent (that also included Bentley). Others seem to have kicked on and improved, whereas ours hasn't.

Doesn't matter about potential, either a player develops or he doesn't. Lemmon hasn't and IMHO, is unlikely to.
