There is zero connection between a defensive 7 and a front 3.
defending on the break the wing backs are not in position so stretch a back three right across. It just doesn’t work.

Complete disconnect with players thats why nothing in the box. The players collectively are much better than this. Therefore it must come down to the game plan and how the manager wants them to play. No risks are taken in the final 3rd. No getting at defenders etc. etc.
