Eh?

Just a case of fat thumbs. Will remove now. Don't get too wound up..still a few weeks to go yet before the window ends.

Don't care about the rating (have hundreds of negs), just didn't know what you thought i'd got wrong?

The story seems to be only coming from only one source - in Italy. Aren't Romano and Di Marzio unreliable?

I don't trust any Italians

I think it's the same procedure that we have been through. Bid for a couple of quality players and not get them. Goalposts were moved and the club did what they could. After the Kroenke interview they need to look like they are doing stuff.

Not sure I buy the Pepe to Arsenal links either, unless Lille aren't holding out for as much as reported. Hasn't he been quoted as costing around £80m? Arsenal's links and window has been so weird in general. How have they supposedly put in such a massive bid for this player yet they're struggling over the structure of a payment for Tierney?

This is very annoying, if they get Tierney they've had a cracking window.

They’ll have money to spend. PEA is likely to be on the move. Wants one last big contract. He’s never really had it as he’s really only played for big teams later in his career. Can’t fault him for it as he is a good player and recognised for it, but he does any to earn the dough to set him up for life.

Well that would be a massive loss and set them back again. Hope it happens

So Arsenal, a club supposedly with no money thanks to failing to get CL, are going to spend more than a club who made top 4 and made the CL final? Im shocked, absolutely shocked:rolleyes:

Our top 6 rivals are always going to strengthen. Pointless getting annoyed about it .

Agreed but i can understand the frustration at this present time because we are no closer to signing Lo Celso or Sess, at the end of the window we can judge but as it stands its nervy times

Huh? We bought Ndombele and Clarke already this year and are very likely to get Lo Celso and Sessengon so not sure where you're coming from with the whole spent more side of things.

I’m not. There finances aren’t the best, they really need to gamble to get CL and that means spend. They have a squad with not many sellable assets so can’t rely on selling players like we can. They should have cashed in on Bellerin when his stock was high with Barca.

So, the players they've been linked with are as good as signed and the ones we're linked with won't happen. Can't say I'm surprised by the overly dramatic pessimism.
