Aresal are the weakest mentality team we could play. If fans think we don't have a problem when it comes to the crunch are dillusuonal. I wouldn't back us to beat Watford in a cup final next week
You're speaking shit.

Cry me a riverYou're speaking shit.
I think we should go all out for the league cup. If we draw a hard team then play the first team. Dele is banned for the first 3 CL games so he can start the early rounds with the like of Son, Winks and Lamela. Get us to the semi final then play the first team.
Let's get the first trophy with this group wrapped up in Feb.
I agree with the sentiments but can we PLEASE stop going on about finishing 2nd until we have !!!! do we never learn as fans?
I will be shocked if pool and city don't get max points from there last 4 games, we have tough 3 matches, we need a win from one of them or a couple of draws or we could end up 4th!
We may have only lost 4 games all season, but anyone remember May last year where we had a similar run in..... please don't say we have 2nd yet because we don't!
Lol. You will be shocked if Liverpool don't get maximum points? 'cause they always put teams below them to the sword.I agree with the sentiments but can we PLEASE stop going on about finishing 2nd until we have !!!! do we never learn as fans?

Exactly. We've still lost fewer games than anyone else.Few weeks ago we were laughed at for daring to get within 10 points of Chelsea. Now it's for failing to get within 1 point. We have an excellent team. Don't be ashamed to find the positives after a shite day in the office. We still have 3 big games to play.
We have to stop using Ferguson as a reference guide because that was 30 years ago and now the game has changed so much.It took Fergie 5 uninspiring years to win a trophy at ManU.
Prior to that they had been in the doldrums for 28 years.
Poch has over performed and the public (me included) have actually been a bit spoilt.
The margins are really fine Chelsea in Europe this season would not have had the same injury record, a bit of luck and we would have had less key injuries.
I have been going to the Lane for a very long time....Since I was 6, I saw us win the double.
This is the best we have been since then. Sure we have won trophies and had our share of glory, in certain periods.
We have had marvelous players that provided wonderful entertainment.
On our day we are playing the best football in the league.
I sill believe we have the best management team on the pitch since Billy Nick
Off the pitch no one has ever IMHO run this club better.
To use an analogy Fergie built a machine that had significantly more horse power than anyone else
so nobody could compete.
The same applies to Shankly\Paisley and even Wenger to a degree.
Mourinho bought one! At Chelsea. and (most other places).
Poch is on the verge of doing the same thing that is why the table of the last 2/3 years is so important.
It identifies the trend. It is also a great way of attracting Players to us.
The board are giving everyone in football a lesson in Moneyball. They told us that in 2008
Billy Beane is an avid spurs fan!

Look what is happening around us ...if you owned either of the Manc clubs Arsenal and Pool, you would hate the fact that we are matching you and better on the Pitch and killing you financially off it!
We play very brave football on the offensive high press in the opponents half. That reflects the character of our manager.
Yes obviously we have to keep Poch....and yes we will have to adapt to Wembley.
Poch probably realises that right now he is in a unique position in world football.
Surely it is better to be the father of the new Spurs an all conquering giant than just to toodle off and be another manager at an already established giant.
He strikes me as a brave man that wants to build something special.
This team if it keeps its current trajectory will win trophies and by the bucket load.
He may well be our Fergie and I bet you he knows it.
And as such I think he wants to lead the YIds into the promised land
I really do not think he would rather be anywhere than here!
No matter what the prestige nor the money.
He knows he can have it all at spurs
Apart from Man United...Exactly. We've still lost fewer games than anyone else.
If Arsenal fail to get top four but win the FA cup have they had a better season than us over all?
Obviously it goes back to that old debate about top four and CL qualification vs FA cup and silverware
But say they win the cup and we finish second with an empty trophy cabinet, would you trade places them and have rather won the cup and not done so well in the league this year?
Personally I'd much prefer to be in our position than theirs even if they do win the cup, but I remember so many fans saying that silverware is better than top four so I wondered who those fans would consider to have had the better season if Arsenal win the cup
The thing is, no one remembers or cares who won the FA Cup either, nowadays! If Arsenal fail to get top four but win the FA cup have they had a better season than us over all?

For me it's simple, yes, I would rather us have won a cup, history doesn't remember finishing as a runner-up, pretty sure Poch isn't happy with second place and not having a trophy and the fans shouldn't be either.
I would take a trophy over CL every single day of the week. I would love for us to win the league though but at this point, any trophy would feel pretty fantastic.
That's the thing though, Ferguson was 30 years ago and it was easier to win a trophey then, especially for a Manchester United, in the last ten years Pompey and Wigan have won the FA Cup otherwise it has been Chelsea four times, Arsenal twice, Man City and Man Utd, Pompey and Wigan had great runs and good luck to them but it didn't exactly allow them to take off did it, and the other winners speak for themselves, they are on a different financial level to us.We have to stop using Ferguson as a reference guide because that was 30 years ago and now the game has changed so much.
Managers often struggle to get 20 months let alone years nowadays but yes I get the rest of your post and pretty much agree.
I still think however that it's not going to be good enough just be there or thereabouts as some point we need to deliver we can't continue to be patted on the back being congratulated for being the nearly men.
I agree and personally I wouldn't even stop to consider trading places with ArsenalThe thing is, no one remembers or cares who won the FA Cup either, nowadays!

I agree but let's be honest, we have been truly shocking for almost all of that 26 years and we can blame the club for that, we are no longer poor and I think it's wrong to lay that shit on this team and manager. It's been a poor record for us no cup final appearance in 26 years truly shocking.
