Lennon as an attacking right back.
He's very good with his defensive duties so how does that grab you?
He genuinely did not do well yesterday before he got injured. Did everyone miss the ball that went across the face that he only kicked fresh air??
There's a danger going overboard with some of this chaps.

I came in to this thread and was going to post the same. Lennon is capable of defensive duties as he used to team up with the younger Walker who woud bomb on with Lennon dropping, and then teaming up when on the back foot.Lennon as a attacking right back.

No, 'genuinely not doing well' was Soton last season. He has improved. He genuinely did not do well yesterday before he got injured. Did everyone miss the ball that went across the face that he only kicked fresh air??

Also there's no 'danger' of anything, recgonising a players improvement, no matter how slight, is all good.

I am in complete agreement on this. Would like to see Poch try this during our next Europe game. Don't see much risk in doing so against pretty weak opponents. Ultimately, Lennon could shine in this role for a team that likes to play a back three with wing backs. But, that ain't us.Lennon as a attacking right back.

It's funny how us wee fans can see this as a possibility, but the manager probably won't or can't. then again, maybe he has but Lennon has put the kibosh on the idea. But agree, if the kid has any sense at all and cares about his future, he should look no further than Valancia for Man U... he converted to a RB and did pretty good, all things considered. It seems preferable to attempting to convert him into a left wing forward.
I think he did. So thereHe has improved, but he didn't play well on Sunday. Pretty simple.
I think he did. So there
Yeah I guess when you're as bad as he is, air-kicking a dangerous cross the face of the goal and shanking a cross into row z is about as good as you can hope for.
