Really hoping for some ITK on Benteke tonight, the silence is starting to worry me. Normally there have been player, manager, club comments by now if it was close just like Paulinho

Those top strikers are not moving because they fancy a change its because so many rich clubs are all looking for strikers at the same time, it just so happens that we are too which is why if we can get Benteke it would be a real coup, top of the second list already.

Right, this is not strictly ITK, more like confirmation of what is already common knowledge, but nonetheless is probably as close to being ITK as I'll ever get.
As a Spurs fan, I am actually born and bred deep within Villa teritory. I live 5mins from Villa's training ground.
This afternoon, I was at the pub, when a Villa first team player walked in with his family. My sister knows him personally, I don't, but I do know his father in law. Spoke to the father in law as he passed our table. Now this guy is a lifelong Villa fan, and non league/semi pro manager in his own right. So I asked him for any gossip on the Benteke story. He said neither he nor his son in law knew anything specifically groundbreaking, but when pushed he said in his opinion, based on what he did know/had heard, he seemed very (very) certain (100% convinced) Benteke will indeed become a Spurs player shortly. Just said it was down to money now.
So, not ground breaking, but a bit of an insight/conformation nonetheless.

Love this sort of info all the same though. And although you got an opinion, it sounds like a pretty informed one. Put it like this, if Benteke was staying put I'm sure he would of heard.

Remember king gave the penalty against city?? It's just so bad to say vert made more mistakes last season than king did as vert was having his 1st season at epl ......... When was the last time one of our defenders made into the top 11 players in the league ??
