Last season he got one ban for elbowing and another for racially abusing an opponent. Didn't take him long to carry that on.

A Newcastle supporting friend tried to tell me last night that Dele shouldn't have tried to rile him because he must of known that Shelvey ran on a short fuse, and that Dele should be banned too for making him lose his temper.

He was deadly serious too

Last season and the one before, opposition were trying to wind Dele up all the time. He's grown and matured a lot, and turned the tables. If that tit shelves got himself all in a knot over something that petty, then his problem.
Perception is often greater then reality, as is the case with the view of dele. He's a skilful and committed player who wants to win.

Can I just remind people that typing creative ways of spelling out the 'c' word will result in a ban. If you have to use it, type the word out in full and let our censor do it's thing. Trying to find a way round it will violate some advertising deals we have in place to pay for the site so this is not treated favourably.

With the Dele thing I'm surprised he gets so much hate, he doesn't dive that much or even make the most of stuff. He just gets pissed off now and again because all the opposition team are trying to break his legs (understandable)

Players think they can get him sent off so they go after him and instead he manages to wind them up.

This is it and to be brutally honest if he played for any other team I would hate him with all my heart. As it stands my love for him is very real.

If he was complete shite, oppo fans would still hate him but not with the same fervor. In attempts to get to him, i think the fans are a bit noisier but he's always got it in his locker to silence them. His movement for the goal yesterday was top draw.
