No, not a good post; just someone who has the same argument as you.
All the players mentioned in this thread (Nicholas, Clemence) are all players from 20-30 years ago - when we were rivals - both on the pitch and trophy wise.
Nowadays, we are not rivals on the pitch. Since we won the FA Cup in '91. They have been in 6 FA Cup finals (won 5), won 4 titles and been runners up 5 times. They have been in 4 European finals (ECWC*2, UEFA CUP and ECL) and they have been in the Champions League for the past 11 seasons.
Since 1991, we have won 2 league cups and 1 FA Cup. We have been in 1 other final. We have never finished higher than 5th in 17 years.
Local rivals, yes. Rivals on the pitch, I wished.
You don't get it.
The trophies are irrelevant!
This rivalry has absolutely nothing to do with trophies, who won what, where, when and how! This rivalry is to do with history, territory, lies & politics.
The whole thing goes straight over your head. I reckon your pretty young (early 20's at the most), don't know the history very well, are probably the new breed of football fan (the stream watcher) and you've probably been to less than a dozen spurs games in your life. The same can no doubt be said of your gooner mates who apparently congratulated you when we beat the Chavs, no real Arsenal fan would be slapping his yid mate on the back and loving him because Spurs won a trophy. The very image of such a thing is laughable.
I'm sure your a good guy and probably so are your scummy Arse mates but the rivalry between Arse & Spurs is something none of you comprehend or understand.
