Ive been one of very few who’s been saying Son hasn’t been as bad as people say but you if you don’t perform you should go on the bench especially if you have a good replacement

Like the team, lenglet height over davies could be important with mitrovic, conte looking like he’s trying to play son into form while Kulu getting a deserved rest.
Only shame is no Spence on the bench

Really like the look of the back 3. Playing out from the back is so key for us so nice to see players who are really comfortable on the ball. Expecting it to help our performance massively

Everyone’s been doubling/tripling up on Son. They won’t get away with that with Richarlison buzzing around. Deki to come on when we’re 4-0 up.

Interesting. Good for Richarlison and Lenglet, not so for Bissouma, Deki, and Davies. Shows that we have improved the squad, with decent players to come on too. Would like to see Spence given some time at WB at some point.

I think the reluctance to "rest" Son may stem from what options can change the game from the bench.
I think Richarlison and Kulu are better options coming into the game if we need a spark (certainly ATM)

Depends how you view it. If you view him as being dropped then yes but if you have half a brain and view it as rotating a player that was visibly the most tired in our last game only 3 days ago then no.
