Happy that Lenglet & Richarlison is starting but it’s absolute bullshit that Kulusevski who’s been our best attacker is getting benched instead of Son

What happened with we have no clear starting 11 bs?? Disappointed in Conte
It's a squad and game

Lenglet will be better in the air than Davies, which will be needed against mitrovic.
I would have liked to see bissouma and bentacur Inthe middle, but hoijberg has gained Conte's trust

For me he’s playing son purely to play him into some form and nothing more , against a promoted team at home is a good way to do so.

Will Emerson ever get dropped/Rested/Rotated? Can see him playing 90 mins of every game this season.

@Fredo I know you love Son, but there’s no justifying him starting ahead of Kulu.

But let’s hope he proves us wrong !
Haha sorry mate, its not even about my love for Son tbh, just to me it really makes sense to bench Kulu instead purely because of fitness, otherwise yeah I'd have dropped Son by now. Thing is with Son we really do need him playing and in form, cant afford less.

I don’t see where Son will get his rest now, he’s not gonna be omitted for our games next week …

While Son is out of forum and should have spent some time on the bench, his fitness is outstanding.

We could get away with out needing to rotate him that often

Ive been one of very few who’s been saying Son hasn’t been as bad as people say but you if you don’t perform you should go on the bench especially if you have a good replacement

This just proves Son & Kane will start no matter what, it’s bs

Putting him on the bench isnt going to make him shoot the ball better - its not for the lack of effort etc. He just hasnt hit his stride and only games will improve that. Perhaps he with Richarlison will be a shoot out for who starts v Marseille and who knows - may spur each other on

The right changes.

Fulham will press and chase everything down. Therefore, you need players who can play and have aggression.

Kulusevski should be quite effective off the bench.

I remember when Kulu was rested v Leicester last season he came on and changed the game for us. Got 2 assists IIRC, and had a worldie. Fully prepared for him to come on and have similar impact if needed

Fantastic to see Lenglet get a start. We are going to see today what two ball playing center-backs bring to the team. I expect us to be much more fluid going forward.

The whole point of our squad rebuild is to have players who Conte trusts to come in without dropping standards

The point of rotation is to rest players before they get injured. Conte and co will have access to a lot of data about their fitness, fatigue and possible injury risks.

It’s more likely Kulusevski just needs a rest rather than is being dropped because of form

Son needs to deliver but then it should be the case that no one can rest on their laurels - including Kane.

We will miss Perisic's guile down the left but understand the rotation with Sess.
