Welcome to the Spurs Vs Fulham Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

I'm expecting a really tough contest tomorrow. I watched Fulham dominate Liverpool a few weeks ago and they impressed the hell out of me. They played with pace and aggression (neither of which we've showed too much of recently) so we're going to have to be right on our toes. Hopefully Romero and Bentancur will be back for us because Mitrovic is a beast and he's capable of causing problems for any defence.

Yep, good team Fulham, but I'm going for a win, to make it an excellent start to the season

Waiting nervously on the fitness of Hojbjerg and Bentancur. Either one of them fit enough to start would be a bonus, not only for tomorrow but for Marseille on Wednesday too.

3-1 Spurs, Deki double.

Last time we played Marco Silva was that horrible Son/Gomes game. He's never beaten us; D3 L2. But I expect this to be annoyingly similar to the West Ham game; Fulham are happy for opponents to have the ball and that's where we've been coming short recently. Going for 1-0 because I'm still not convinced by Tosin/Ream as a CB pairing.

Hugo
Romero-Dier-Lenglet
Emerson-Bissouma-Bentancur-Perisic
Kulusevski-Kane-Richarlison

The issue with playing better in the second half (bar Wednesday) is that we cannot rest players like Kane after 60 mins. Hopefully we can get a couple of goals up early doors. This will be a tough game though.

Fulham signed Vinicius, Willian and Dan James. So we need to score at least 4 goals to win that game.

Conte said in his press conference earlier that both Romero and Bentancur are ready to play but no mention of Pierre.

4-3-3 is the answer but Conte is too stubborn to change.

We dont need wingbacks when we have excellent wing-forwards in Deki and Perisic. Why jam up the flanks when the central midfield needs bolstering?

The 2 wingbacks can be converted to fullbacks, which means we will not need a 3rd CB. This additional player can be used to beef up the central midfield, which has been swarmed and outplayed in all our games this season.

.........................Lloris.......................
Emerson....Romero.......Dier.....Sess
.....................Bentancur......................
..............PEH........Bissouma..........
..Deki...............Kane...............Perisic..

Makes sense?

I'd like a performance with a result this time please. Two solid halves of football. We need to start getting into a rhythm with the fixture list we've got coming up.

If Spurs win tomorrow we will equal our best ever start to a Premier League season (after 6 games) with 14 points. This has only happened in the 16/17 season.

please let Willian be ready to play. We do not even need to say anything, we all just just know that Romero knows, he will make his knees sing!

Bentancur-Skipp or Bentancur-Bissouma would be fun to see.

I just really hope we aren’t going to sit as deep as we did against Forest and let them have the ball, they’ll be perfectly happy to spend the game swinging in 30 crosses towards Mitrovic and if we give them enough chances he will get on the end of one.
