Depends on who is buying, and how much demand is out there for the player. Does not seem that the demand for Wimmer is very high.
True. However if we don't need to sell him and the offer isn't what we want, we should keep him.

However if we do get Sanchez and Foyth, we prob need to sell him for whatever we can.

My understanding is that Wimmer wants to go, and that we are accommodating the player.

I think I need to give up adopting a player on here, first Chadli and now Wimmer have been sold to the footballing purgatory that is a Tony Pulis managed West Brom. I'll be having social services at my door!!

He deserves better than West Brom, I hope he's not there for long.

True story - the first year we adopted players, I adopted Son (because I already have 2 daughters), and I changed my avatar to Son to be supportive. He struggled a little bit to settle in the first year, then last summer we were in for Isco, and when it looked like it was close, I changed my avatar to Isco, you know, to make the transfer happen. The talks broke down the instant I changed avatars. It was uncanny. I was shaken, and I vowed not to jinx any more players, so I switched to Levy - who has had the worst summer since he took over Spurs.

I am now considering an avatar that rotates among Pep, Jose, and Conte...

Or the club badge of our next opponents and change it after we play them?

It's very likely if he is sold for £15m there's a pretty decent sell-on % included in the deal. I'd imagine any deal for Wimmer would include one given how talented he is.

I agree with that, we sold Siggy and Chadki for reasonable prices with sell on clauses, I don't believe we added a sell on clause when we sold Walker for £50 million

Look at what Fulham are asking for Sessegnon and they are in the championship.

He's 17 and already played more games for Fulham in one season than Wimmer has in 2. He's also English and said to be the next big English talent.

If the rumours are true we seem to be paying (initially) nearly twice what we get for Wimmer to buy Sanchez with add ons. Seems much too cheap to me and it's not like we owe WBA anything after their stance on Berahino. I know Peace isn't there now btw.

He'd probably do quite well there. He'd look like the classy defender in Pulis' deep block similar to how he looked in Cologne under Stoger. Wimmer's long passing is also quite good so this could be decent for all parties.

I hope if we do sell him we include some kind of buyback though. I still really like me some Wimmer.

Wimmer would prob play every game in the championship too.

I am not against selling Wimmer. I just want to get the best possible price for him and that seems over £15-20m in this current market.

Gotta give West Brom some credit, I hate their football but they have built a solid upper-half team in the last couple years. I think Wimmer will do great there, and they may again be pushing Southampton and Everton for the your-season-ends-in-March slots in the table.

Switch your avatar to Sissoko, he simply can't get any worse

BAGGIES IN FOR WIMMER

West Bromwich Albion's bosses have sanctioned the purchase of Tottenham defender Kevin Wimmer for a fee of £15m, Sky Sources understand, and it's now Tony Pulis' call on whether to go ahead with the deal.

The head coach will decide over the next couple of days whether to spend a big chunk of his transfer kitty on the Austrian defender, or divert his funds elsewhere.
