Didn't we reportedly turn down a £19m bid from Southampton earlier in the week? Letting a deal get as close as personal terms would surely suggest we're now fully confident in landing Sanchez within the next few days... or maybe I've just let the transfer window get to me and have to analyse everything
It gets you in all sorts of ways; yesterday I found myself weeping at the moral dilemma faced by Andy in Andy's Dinosaur Adventures when he risked his life to extract a thorn from the foot of a cgi T-Rex

£15m for a 5th choice centre back (6th if we sign Sanchez) isn't bad going. I don't think he'd get much game time here, so best for his own career for him to move on. More than good enough to play premier league football, for sure. Hope he does well.

Hopefully Son isn't too distraught.

Wimmer is still only 24 and in this transfer climate i personally don't think 15m is alot.

We refused to accept the 19m offer from southampton but agree to take 15m bid? Something is wrong.

For what sTWAT Pearce did to us berahino we should fuck them over Wimmer. But guess we start from a clean slate now given that they had new owners

Maybe we're getting Claudio Yacob in return to be Dele's personal punchbag in the training ground gym.

The article suggests it is 20 in all, and I don't remember anywhere reliable reporting that bid rejected. Just some Austrian tweet.

Crazy. It's like the property market.

Exactly this, anyone who has bought a house in a 'chain' should understand why our transfer business plays out the way it does. That, and the fact that we don't just throw money at everything.

He will thrive there imo, become part of a tough defence but also will bring them a bit of class on the ball

Farewell big kev, I love you even though you're a bit fat
