The most frustrating omission is actually Bissouma.

I thought this guy was going to be a monster for us.

Bit difficult if he barely gets a game.

Fully behind the lads and expect a reaction but really want to see this guy in the team.

Conte said Bissouma wasn't fully fit to start vs Arsenal and Emerson may as well play given Doherty is going to have to play many matches in the league now, otherwise there isn't much to expect by way of rotation. Kulu and Lucas are out, Skipp and Doherty aren't fully fit, and Perisic is better than Sessegnon.

As it's the same team I'm hoping this is Conte saying "You were shit on Saturday so go and fucking make up for it tonight you ****s"

Need to get at least a point tonight.

Don't want to go into that Marseille game needing a win

He is giving them a chance to redeem themselves after the weekend, fine by me as it is a match we need to win.

Frustrating. Not sure why we'd expect some sudden huge change to the generally poor performances with this line-up/system thus far this season.
Exactly. We will continue to play as badly today as in previous games. Why would it be any different? It's like he's rewarding Emerson.

Every top manager stubbornly sticks with their system. It requires total buy in from the players and you're hardly going to get that if you start doubting it yourself. Personally I have no problem with it. It's painful to watch at times, I admit, but when I look back on every game I can always remember more clear cut chances for us than the opponent, despite their dominating the ball. I include the Arsenal game in that as well, until Lloris and Emerson decided to gift it to them.

Ok. But if we lose tonight, Conte will really deserve all the criticism he gets.

Could argue its a good opportunity for them to make a statement and bounce back following the Arsenal game. Lets wait to see what happens before passing judgement before a balls even been kicked. COYS
