Yeah him and Ndombele were the two names that I thought good, fucking throw game after game at them. They're not the only 2 I was thinking but certainly the 2 I'm most happy to see starting.

I hope I'm not proved wrong but I really don't think desire is his problem. I think a lack of pre-season has hurt him and he looks off the pace hence he is playing and Sonny rested. He has too much to lose not to have his heart in it even if he is to move in a year. He has been one of our all time best players - I have faith in him even if not the same affection I did before.

We have no fucking self respect and I’m tired of it. He wanted to leave for a club with no values, talked to Sky Sports, leaked stuff to the media, didn’t turn up in time for pre season, plays like shit & doesn’t even try. Yet he’s still the vice captain. FUCK OFF

It's a really strong team and it should be. We need to find some cohesion and consistency and start getting that midfield to create. Nuno said we are going to use the games to develop since we have no time on the training ground so it's good that the team has a lot of first teamers involved.

I have faith, but it is wearing thin. Always supported him through the fallow periods before but need something to show me he has the desire. Tonight for fitness, Sunday vs Arsenal for the commitment!!

Winks rested from the bench… nice to not have fear of him coming on to a) assist holding on to lead or b) assist in getting us back into the game, equally fantastic at both, if only he could play tacos every week he’d be quite useful…
