glad swp got the nod, shame for adam johnson thought he was well worth a punt.. with milner being able to cover most positions bar cb did we really need cover for a cole? warnock is decent enough though. really gutted for parker, thought him or hudd have more form than carrick who is out of sorts. plenty of creativity in the team dont need an iffy carrick. need the likes of hudd or parker who are holders and can play a bit too.

so glad joe cole got in, think we will see alot 451 in s africa

apparently James has been given the n1. Jersey according to The Times

For the love of God.

I'm sure when Capello took over he said club form was going to be the most important factor in picking his team. Granted Joe Hart has little international experience but he has been by far the best English keeper this season. I hate watching David James play for England. At times he is a brilliant keeper but a part of you knows that sooner or later he's going to cock up again.

We're not the most exciting team by any means, but I really hope our star players turn up.

As much as I would love to see him change formation, I think he will go 4-4-2. He changed formation against Japan, but soon changed back again. I can't see him changing it again.

From the start I can see...

James
Johnson....Terry....Ferdinand....A.Cole
A.Lennon....Lampard....Gerrard....J.Cole
Rooney....Crouch

I think he'll go for Gerrard and Lampard in the middle, then switch Gerrard out wide when Barry returns.

I reckon the midfield will be

Lennon - Lampard - Barry - Gerrard

Then either Rooney and Heskey or Rooney and Crouch

OR

Possibly may see Joe Cole off Rooney's hole
