i disagree, walcott when on 'top form' is england's most dangerous player. you can't beat pace and he's so small defenders will find it hard to stop him without a foul.
Fair enough. But possibly overstating the case with "most dangerous". And I'd take quality over dangerous every day. Even if he's our quickest player, it won't be by much and there are others (like Bob says) that offer much more as a complete package.
There could be an argument that slower nations would be fearful of Walcott being introduced after 70 minutes when they are tired. International football does lend itself to 'specialist subs' in that respect. But if the squad has Lennon, Young, Johnson? Defoe even? I'm not convinced.
