Presumably we didn't win 10 in a row under redknapp if our club record is 6. Maybe in all comps or unbeaten?

Well we won 11 in a row in the old 1st division when we did the double, but I was convinced we won 10 under Redknapp. Just checked and I am indeed mistaken. It was 10 wins and one draw out of 11, with 6 in a row.

Chelsea being so far ahead isn't as daunting as it could be. Last year we were in the top 4 until around march when we started making up ground. I know we didn't catch them, but in doing that the players recognise that it is doable and have learned from last year.

Those last 4 words. "Learned from last year".

We have always almost never learned from past years. Time and time again we falter in April and May.

Dislike or disagree or spam this if u want but that, folks, is the reality.

We as fans need to learn to stop giving it the bigguns to arsenal until the season is totally over.

Just reading Redcafes thread on Harry Kane, actually makes me want to bang my head against the wall, the contradictory nature of the posts makes my teeth itch.

I don't know, could be the Redcafe thread, but try corsodyl just in case...

From BlueMoon in a thread about them being linked with Walker and Rose:

Genuine question, who is a better right back in our league than Walker?

If there is one, maybe we should go for them instead!

And in response:

Azpilicueta, Clyne, Sagna, Bellerin, Valencia, Coleman, Simpson, Rangel, Cedric.

There are plenty of comments like it underrating both of them. Honestly, do people actually watch football before they comment on it?

Haha and another said that Barkley and Coleman would be a better option for them than Walker and Dele.

Barkley and Coleman would be a better option for Man Utd, because they have zero chance of signing Walker and Alli.

What does "always almost never" mean? Until I know, I cannot decide whether to dislike, disagree or spam ;)

And in response:

Azpilicueta (Okay, maybe), Clyne (You mean England's second best right back?), Sagna (Not even 5 years ago), Bellerin (Not even in 5 years time), Valencia (Wait what?!), Coleman (Don't), Simpson (Make), Rangel (Me), Cedric (Laugh).

My honest reactions added above...

All we can do is create pressure by winning games. Chelsea have a cushion but it becomes tougher to maintain if someone is constantly chasing you down.

We werent given the opportunity last season as the Premier League and Sky colluded to ensure Leicester played stress free. This year I cant see that and coupled with the fact there are 6 teams seemingly fighting it out for top spot, I think there will be plenty of twists and turns still to come

What makes you think that? I have complete and utter faith in both Sky and BT jointly shafting us again, the moment there is even a whiff of the slightest possibility we could win the title.

Because there isnt a story like Leicester to promote this year

At some point fans of this club have to start believing in this team.

Why shouldn't we believe that we can win every game. How many games in the last 2 years can you say a team have been better than us? I'm thinking 3 maybe 4 games if that..... so hell yeah i expect us to turn up and win at City, we are not only playing better than them, we are better than them as a team.

This is different to being cocky like the Mancs, Arse* or Chelscum fans. We've nothing to be cocky about yet, but we have a lot to be happy and proud about.

Sorry can't compute, I'm a spurs supporter!!

Didn't we just stop Chelsea on 13 ???

We did. But they haven't won anything as of yet. Winning 10+ in a row, has only been done 3-4 times in the past 16 years. Leicester won the title last season. The highest winning run streak was 6, by us.

I don't think people watch enough Spurs and remember the days of Walker and maybe Rose being a liability at times. These days they never seem to put a foot wrong and even more attacking. It helps when they have the likes of Jan, Toby and Hugo in their team. Great fullbacks and easily part of the best defence in the league

Totally agree, Walker was extremely infuriating, he couldn't cross, made the wrong run/pass and used his pace to make up for silly mistakes (mostly down to concentration). Glad to see he has finally seemed to have taken that next step. Rose's improvement and the addition of Tripper have definitely made him up his game.
