Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we finish top five relatively comfortably for the past two years and get to the quarters of the CL, whereas Liverpool have only spent big money on better than average players (bar Suarez) and were 18th 9 months ago. So for the BBC to call it things like a 'top five' when WE WERE THE ONES WHO FINISHED FIFTH is rather insulting.
Agreed. Our strikers failed because they were crap and have always been crap. Our decent strikers have either had their confidence destroyed (Keane) or don't get to play (Pav). If he had been here last season we might not have lumped it to Crouchy so much and he would have worked well alongside VDV
Just seen the title odds on Sky Sports. Both Arsenal and Liverpool 12/1, with Spurs 50/1. I find that hilarious that we're so far less likely than those 2 at those odds.
