Adam Idah is just a year older and another big Irish hope. He’s getting a run out in the FA Cup today and scored twice already.

Has he scored when he's played in the 1st team yet?

If he plays I hope scores tomorrow.

If Parrott the only like for like replacement for Kane cannot get a game against Boro, I dont see much future for him. Doubt he will sign the contract

He's 17 and still will surely know and accept that Son's the first one who replaces Kane when Kane is injured. I wouldn't worry yet.

I hooe you are right. Just remembered that the previous youth striker, Reo Griffith, we hope will be the next Kane is at Lyon

Hoping Parrott does not follow his path out of spurs

With Son missing the last 3 games, I think he will get the nod for some match fitness with Parrott replacing him towards the end. He will sign the new contract and just needs to be patient. He's only 17 years old. A lot including myself want to see some of the younger players today but I think we're more likely to see a lot of the back up players with the youth coming on later in the game if we are winning.

I would play him in Kane position and keep son and other players in normal positio.

The boy (and indeed Mourinho) will get loads of goodwill and allowances for this move so not a massive risk. I think he will be good enough in time.

if he were at Man U, Liverpool,Chelsea to name 3 he would have played today. I hope he sees a future at Spurs and signs a new contract as he has the makings of a great player.
Still so young so I understand the treating him with kid gloves but would have liked to have seen him play a few mins today.

So frustrating he didn't get a chance today when all we came away with was a draw. He needs to feature in the replay, and should start! Doubt he would do much worse than we saw from our forwards today.

Klopp starts a 16 year old in a Merseyside derby yet Jose won't bring a 17 year old on away at a championship club when we could of done with a goal and other players are playing well below average.

I would be surprised if his people are not telling him to look elsewhere at other teams who have a reputation of blooding youngsters and are offering him good money.

Klopp can do no wrong at the moment. Mourinho hasn’t got that luxury.

Because he's not taking FA CUP seriously? If we make u23 or u18 squad people would be moaning why Jose is not taking this cup seriously... Klopp is not using youth better than Jose. Since Jose came, in PL and CL for Liverpool: Elliott 1 min, Curtis Jones 14 min. For comparison Skipp 45 min, Parrott 5 min

I think if the team was performing at a higher level then we may have seen Parrott be given some more minutes by now.

He's unlikely to get anything this season bar sitting on the bench. Jose already making noises about needing a focal point to replace Kane who's likely to be out for some time.

No one's expecting him to replace Kane or Son, but give him a few mins on the pitch. Bayern was dead rubber and he couldn't even get on the pitch there either.

He'd be an idiot to stay with us now.

Actually think that’s a misread of the Jose situation. I think he’d get an incredible amount of leeway from the fan base if the “risk” he takes is to give Parrott a start or even 15 minutes today. We were crying out for a CF, especially once GLC and Lamela have us control and push forward.

I think the same about Tanganga vs having Jan out there.

There’s a worry about his contract isn’t there?

All know where this one is going to go.
He’ll be learning German soon I reckon!
