Actually think that’s a misread of the Jose situation. I think he’d get an incredible amount of leeway from the fan base if the “risk” he takes is to give Parrott a start or even 15 minutes today. We were crying out for a CF, especially once GLC and Lamela have us control and push forward.

I think the same about Tanganga vs having Jan out there.
That’s a nice thought but it’s a rod to beat him with if Boro won. And Spurs fans are as good as anyone for grasping at every available rod. And from Parrott’s point of view, two starts and out of two cups wouldn’t bode well either. Worst case scenario but that seems to be how we are match to match at the moment.

I’d like to say I knew what position Spurs would be in next month but I’m struggling to say what they’re doing day to day at the moment. Turns 18 next month which I presume is where they’re going with that?

Yeah isn’t rule at 17 you can only sign 2 years ? Birthday is February 2nd so hopefully get him on 4 years or something like that.

So, basically, Levy maximising the profit potential for when we sell him in a couple of years time.

(Yes I've lost any faith I had in Levy on the team front)

I’d lose more faith in Levy if he didn’t try to sign him up.

Ideal timing for placating the fans a couple of days after the window closes then when we havent signed anyone....

Yeah, fuck what’s best for the club. Levy should drive him to Munich himself so he can sign on a free for Bayern.

What key players have we sold in last 5 years that were at their peak ? Walker that’s it ?

That's nothing to do with what I said. What I'm getting at is that Parrot probably won't get in 1st team and will move on.:angelic:

If he can't get on in a dead rubber versus Bayern or in a FA cup game versus Boro when we he is our only recognised striker then his advisors should be thinking hard before he signs a new deal with us.
I'm desperate for him to succeed here not just for spurs but also because it means Ireland would have a premiership striker from my club but if he signs a deal Im not sure it'd be the best decision for him. This is a huge moment for him I just hope he makes the right choice.
