The ref was atrocious, how Fulham and in particular Paulinha finished with no yellow cards is beyond me.

dirty team and horrifically dirty player

the ref could have reined him in by issuing a yellow to him

I dont know what game some of you were watching but Richy, Kulu and PEH were all fantastic tonight.
I agreed but Kulu was incredibly loose with his passing all game. It was especially noticeable late in the game when he needed to be better given our second string were on the field.

Tricky one , Richy was brilliant in the first half
Yeh tricky place to go on Friday, I think Richy has earnt another start and we need that hold up ability. Brennan off the bench for more minutes.

The way Lo Celso played the ball to Skipp who did not anticipate it at all and let it rolled out for a Fulham throw while not even looking at him says everything about these 2nd stringers.
Yes, I noticed that moment too BUT… it’s all about CHEMISTRY.

I’m not a Lo Celso fanboi, still maybe I’m being too generous here but I give him the benefit of the doubt. Another 30 minutes on the pitch in a game situation and then we can begin to see his quality. Or not. Up to him.

Didn't play well but this post is unnecessarily harsh.

He was not helped by having Hojbjberg next to him, and then Royal on the left side. (And you could say the same thing about Hojbjerg).

I think Skipp would be fine with a CM partner who was more capable of taking and moving the ball in tight spaces. But, when you put all of them on the pitch at the same time, it makes them all look worse.

It was basically the whole of the second half I guess that I’m talking about. I thought we were really sloppy after half time and gave the ball away a lot. I did enjoy the first half. It was a bit disappointing just to lose the ball so much and give away so many opportunities . Ange just said it’s the worst 45 mins this season. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Good on ya

Top of the league on points and about half the comments are still negative. Unbelievable. We needed our squad tonight, it might not have been as swashbuckling as we've become accustomed to but they got the job done.
to be fair, we have really beaten the bottom of the table.

Tougher matches ahead - and so there will always be a few doubts amongst the pundits.

If we are still top of the table at Christmas - pundits will start talking more positively.

Jeez he was absolutely knackered!

we have to give some of these young men a bit of leeway!!

He used to be but not anymore. He’s become as biased as the rest of them, which is a shame because he was a breath of fresh air to begin with. He put his money on the gooners this year and can’t bear it now they aren’t as good as he thought. That kind of stubbornness has no place in impartial commentary. Mans a clown these days.
You’re talking about Gary Neville - the post was about Gary O’Neil who is doing the MNF analysis as a guest this week (they seem to have a guest manager most weeks now in place of Neville who, I agree, has become shit).

I wouldn't go that far, I thought all 3 played well but I wouldn't go as far as saying fantastic. There were a couple of times inside the box both halves, when Kulu could and should have taken a shot and could have scored but passed instead, was that a slight lack of confidence ? Overall his work rate and overall contribution was good.

Richy blazed well over and his control let him down in the second half but produced a really good assist for the first half and like Son he had a decent work rate.

Hojbjerg contributed well and was really efficient overall, didn't do much wrong but I wouldn't call his contribution tonight fantastic.

I think Ange summed up the performance overall pretty well. Good result, a bit of a drop off in the second half and we could have let them back in if their finishing was better but pleased we got the result and kept a clean sheet.

Huh? No way. Richy was excellent today and I'm harsh on the bloke

He was good first half, and was great for the first goal.

Just thought BJ and his pace away from home my pose a better overall threat for this one.

Im a big fan of Risharlison so didnt mean to be overly critical.

Kulusevski is one of our only attackers whoever plays 90-minutes, runs his ass off all game and contributes in both attack and defence yet each game some posters still comment how he needs to do more in the final 15 minutes...
