I haven't been this nervous about a fixture in quite sometime. Who would have thought that a home game vs Everton would be one of the most important ones in our season, so fair play to Martinez for that. Our home record has been shambolic, but if they have no Lukaku that's a big relief for our defence. I think this will come down to whoever we have on our wings, Lennon will probably play and he simply has to turn up, none of that rubbish from Hull. I get the feeling Tim really likes Townsend and he'll probably start, if not then I say give Chadli a go. Adebayor to lead the line with Eriksen behind. Sadly Soldado hasn't earn't a start for this one in my opinion. Bentaleb has been good so far, and Paulinho is our best option in the centre. So they'll start too I reckon.

We work better when we are underdogs, and in this top 4 race we certainly are the underdogs. So lets hope we win this and go on to replicate that memorable 0-1 City away performance at Anfield.

For the love of God - please lets us win today lol

Havn't won one live home League game this season - shocking.

Think we'll win 3-1 though - Adebayor has a blinder.

I really hope we give him a great send off with a good win and fantastic applause from the fans.
I wouldn't worry about that, - the vast majority who give him grief are the stereotypical key board warriors, at the Lane he is hugely respected

We need to win this game big time, Everton will come at us from the off so we need to be switched on and attack when possible, quick counter attacks need to be fluent and cohesive. COYS.

Agreed. If Sherwood has learned anything from this season (and quite possibly from the last two or three) it is that we are slow out of the blocks. The kick-off may be at 1.30 but the team should be 'playing' at 12.30, mentally warmed-up. God how I wish we could get back to the days when we would stick two in within the first ten minutes. Did those days really exist, or are they just a fantasy?!

If we don't win I blame my bother. Him and my dad are off to WHL, without me. While I have to prepare a presentation for an interview.

We better get a win today, god knows I need something to lift my mood!

Kaboul and Capoue seem to be in the squad. SSN just showed players walking around pitch. Defoe Dembele Vertonghen Dawson Adebayor Eriksen also there

A presentation for an interview sounds awful! Good luck though!

I hope Sherwood doesn't find ways to give Defoe game time as it's his last game, and plays the team and tactics he feels is best to win and for no other reason.

I had a nightmare that we play a 4-4-2 against 8 man midfield Everton or start with Sig on the left again lol
